Gorakhpur Anganwadi Worker Eligibility Criteria

• Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts.
• The candidate must be a resident of the same Gram Sabha (for rural posts) or the same ward of the urban area (for urban posts) against which the vacancy exists – this residency condition is mandatory.
• If no eligible candidate is available in a particular category within a Gram Sabha, category-wise selection will be made from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat (adjoining panchayat circle).
• Widowed applicants must submit their husband’s death certificate and a copy of the family register, certified by the Gram Panchayat Officer or the concerned urban local body.
• In cases of divorce or desertion, only a valid order issued by a competent court will be accepted as proof.
