The Centre for Advanced Studies in Electronics Science and Technology (CASEST), School of Physics, University of Hyderabad, has invited applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate 1 position in the research project “Development of a novel NDT instrument using 3d Asymmetric Giant Magnetoimpedance Sensors for Coal mines”. The tenure is six months or the end of the project, whichever is earlier, with fellowship as per DST rules and no HRA. Applicants need an MSc/MTech or BTech (EEE & ECE) as described below, with minimum 60 % marks or CGPA 6.75. Who Can Apply

Pay and Tenure

The fellowship / honorarium / stipend is “as per DST rules”; the notice prints no rupee amount. HRA is not applicable. The tenure is six months or the end of the project, whichever is earlier. The appointment is purely temporary, and appointees have no right to claim any regular appointment in the University.

How to Apply for UoH Recruitment 2026

1. Prepare the application on plain paper or in the attached Form B (Application for Position in the Project).
2. Form B asks for the post applied for, notification number and date, personal details, address for correspondence, present position, educational qualifications, experience, and the names and addresses of two referees.
3. Paste a recent photograph on Form B and sign the declaration.
4. Enclose self-attested copies of all certificates supporting the information given in the application.
5. Add extra documents such as a CV to support the application.

7. Make sure the application is received by 14 November 2026.
