About BRIC-NIPGR

The BRIC-National Institute of Plant Genome Research is based at Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi. According to its letterhead, it is part of BRIC, a DBT organisation. These posts are in two Department of Biotechnology (DBT) projects on sheath blight disease in rice. The work is supervised by Dr. Gopaljee Jha, Scientist, BRIC-NIPGR.

BRIC-NIPGR Research Associate-I Eligibility 2026

Essential Qualification

• A Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology or a related field. You must also meet the guidelines in DST Office Memorandum No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated June 26, 2023.
• Under the same DST office memorandum, candidates with an M.Tech in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics can also apply if they have three years of research experience and a relevant research publication.

Selection Process

• Applications are screened, and BRIC-NIPGR may raise the eligibility criteria for shortlisting if it receives many applications.
• Shortlisted candidates receive an email with the interview link and the date and time of the online interview.
• Ineligible candidates will not be shortlisted. BRIC-NIPGR will select candidates based on their qualifications and experience.
