The Department of Plant Pathology, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana has invited applications for one post of Research Fellow at Rs.17,000/- p.m. (fixed) + 20% HRA in the scheme “Bio-efficacy evaluation of Kocide against bacterial blight of cotton Misc- 49 PC-5498”, for six months or till the termination of the scheme, whichever is earlier. The essential qualification is B.Sc./B.Sc (Agriculture) and M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/Microbiology, each with a minimum OCPA of 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks. Applications on the prescribed form must reach the office of the Head, Department of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana by 12 November 2026, and the interview is on 13 November 2026 at 11.30 am.

How to Apply for PAU Research Fellow

The application is made on paper, on the form prescribed by the department.

1. Obtain the prescribed application form from the office of the Head, Department of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana, on any working day from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
2. Pay Rs 200/- for the form in the shape of a Bank draft payable at Ludhiana, in favour of Comptroller PAU, Ludhiana.
3. Fill in the form and attach attested copies of certificates.
4. Make sure the application reaches the office of Head, Deptt. of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., by 12 November 2026.

Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

• Bank draft of Rs 200/- payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller PAU, Ludhiana (for the form)
• Attested copies of certificates, with the application

Selection and Interview

The candidates should appear for the interview on 13 November 2026 at 11.30 am in the office of the Head, Department of Plant Pathology, PAU, Ludhiana. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
