How to Check Result

• Visit the official JPSC website at www.jpsc.gov.in.
• Look for the press release or result notification for Advertisement No. 06/2026.
• Open the result PDF titled "Jharkhand Combined Civil Services (Backlog) P.T. Examination-2023 Result."
• Search for your roll number in the list of selected candidates.
• If your roll number appears, you are eligible to apply for the Mains examination.

Mains Exam Schedule

Online Application Process

• Online applications must be submitted at https://jpscotr.com.
• The application window is open from 27 June 2026 to 2 July 2026 (5:00 PM).
• Candidates must log in using their registered Email ID / Phone Number / Candidate ID and Password.
• After logging in, click Start/View Application in Step 1 to view previously entered details.
• In Step 2, enter the required information for the Mains examination and upload all necessary documents as scanned PDF files.
• For Paper II (Language & Literature), candidates must select one language subject as per clause 16(a) of the advertisement.
• Candidates must choose either Hindi or English as the medium for answering Mains papers (except Language & Literature paper) and for the interview.

Documents Required for Application

• Educational Qualification Certificate: Mandatory for all candidates to substantiate their claimed educational eligibility.
• Category Certificate (BC-II / SC): Candidates claiming reservation benefits under Backward Class-II or Scheduled Caste categories must upload a valid local/domicile certificate as specified in the original advertisement (Clause 6).
• Caste Certificate: As per the Government of Jharkhand guidance issued vide Memo No. 4258 dated 30 May 2019, a valid caste certificate is also applicable.
• NOC from Controlling Officer / Head of Department: Candidates who are regular government employees of Jharkhand must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by their Controlling Officer or Head of Department.
• Ex-Serviceman Certificate: Candidates seeking age relaxation on the basis of Ex-Serviceman status must upload the relevant certificate.

Submission of Hard Copy

• The hard copy must include a downloaded printout of the online application and self-attested copies of all uploaded certificates.
• It must be sent via Speed Post / Registered Post or by hand to:
  Pariksha Niyantrak, Jharkhand Lok Seva Aayog, Circular Road, Ranchi - 834001
• Deadline for receipt of hard copy at the JPSC office: 10 July 2026 (up to 5:00 PM).
• The envelope must clearly mention in bold: Advertisement No. 06/2026, Registration Number, and Exam Name - "Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Mains (Written) Backlog Competitive Examination-2023."
• Hard copies received after the deadline will not be accepted, and the candidature will be cancelled. The candidate will be solely responsible for this.
