Qualification
President: Doctorate in the area of physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, or any other related interdisciplinary field. Candidates should have at least 25 years of experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions and/or Science and Technology organizations or as faculty/scientist of recognized national/international universities, research institutes, or corporate R&D labs. Out of this, a minimum of 6 years should be in managerial/administrative capacity overseeing Science & Technology programs, planning and development, budget & finance, coordination, and organizational matters. This experience should include at least 10 years as a Professor in a University system or equivalent position in reputed research or academic administrative organizations. The R&D experience includes the Ph.D. period and must relate to the research domains of the institute such as physical sciences, chemical sciences, life sciences, or related interdisciplinary areas.
