About ILBS
The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences is an autonomous society under the Govt. of NCT of Delhi, located at Sector D-1, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The post is part of an ICMR-funded project titled “Developing a Culture-Independent Rapid Detection Panel of Bacterial Infection in Ascitic Fluid of Decompensated Liver Cirrhosis and Spontaneous Bacterial Peritonitis”. The Project PI is Dr Chhagan Bihari, Professor, Department of Pathology, ILBS, New Delhi.

Terms of the Appointment
- The project duration is 3 years. The appointment is on contract basis for 12 months initially.
- The contract may be extended based on satisfactory performance and/or project duration/availability of funds, whichever is earlier.
- The position is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project duration.
- Selected candidates have no claim for regular appointment at ILBS or continuation in other projects.
