यह रिक्ति भारतीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (ISM) धनबाद में एक परियोजना आधारित जूनियर रिसर्च फेलो के लिए है, जिसकी अवधि 2 सितंबर 2029 तक या परियोजना के समाप्त होने तक रहेगी। इस पद के लिए मासिक वेतन 37,000 रुपये है, जो पहले दो वर्षों के लिए है और तीसरे वर्ष में वरिष्ठ अनुसंधान फेलो बनने पर बढ़कर 42,000 रुपये हो जाता है। आवेदन केवल ईमेल के माध्यम से स्वीकार किए जाएंगे और अंतिम तिथि 3 नवंबर 2026 है।

Who Can Apply

Candidates must fulfil the essential educational qualifications and criteria specified for the ANRF Junior Research Fellow position.

• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Physics) with 1st class or min 60% marks / 6.0 CGPA (if class is not awarded) and valid CSIR-UGC NET (including LS) or GATE qualification.
• Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of quantum mechanics and quantum many-body physics; programming experience (Python/Julia/C++); familiarity with numerical methods for quantum dynamics.
• Age Limit and Relaxation: Age as per ANRF norms, with relaxations applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PH candidates according to Government of India norms.

इस पद पर आवेदन करने के लिए उम्मीदवार के पास भौतिकी में M.Sc. होना आवश्यक है, साथ ही CSIR-UGC NET या GATE की वैध योग्यता भी होनी चाहिए। क्वांटम मैकेनिक्स और प्रोग्रामिंग का ज्ञान वांछनीय माना गया है। आयु सीमा ANRF के नियमों के अनुसार है, जिसमें आरक्षित वर्गों को छूट मिलेगी।

Pay and Tenure

The selected candidate will be appointed as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) with a fellowship of Rs. 37,000/- per month plus admissible HRA if staying outside the campus for the first two years. Upon upgrading to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the third year, the fellowship becomes Rs. 42,000/- per month plus admissible HRA. Upgradation from JRF to SRF and the SRF conditions comply with DST O.M. No. DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26.06.2023. The tenure lasts until 02/09/2029 or until the project terminates, whichever is earlier.

IIT (ISM) Dhanbad ANRF Junior Research Fellow Job Description

The selected candidate will perform the following duties under the sponsored project:

• Carry out theoretical and numerical studies of non-ergodic quantum dynamics and Hamiltonian engineering.
• Develop and run simulation codes on the project’s GPU workstation.
• Analysing the results and preparing reports and manuscripts.
• Ensure the timely and successful completion of the project work in consultation with the Principal Investigator.

इस पद पर कार्यरत व्यक्ति को क्वांटम डायनेमिक्स के सैद्धांतिक और संख्यात्मक अध्ययन करने होंगे, साथ ही परियोजना के लिए सिमुलेशन कोड विकसित और चलाने होंगे। परिणामों का विश्लेषण और रिपोर्ट तैयार करना भी जिम्मेदारी में शामिल है।

Selection and Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date of the interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short-listed based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project. Candidates must arrange their own accommodation and travel for their stay at Dhanbad if required, as no TA/DA is paid to attend the interview.

इंटरव्यू के लिए केवल मेरिट और परियोजना की जरूरत के अनुसार चुने गए उम्मीदवारों को बुलाया जाएगा। चयन के लिए न्यूनतम योग्यता होना पर्याप्त नहीं है। धनबाद में आवास और यात्रा का इंतजाम उम्मीदवार को खुद करना होगा क्योंकि इंटरव्यू के लिए कोई TA/DA नहीं दिया जाएगा।
