CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru, Karnataka, has invited applications for 46 posts in 13 roles under Advt No. 15/2026/PS. The posts include Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical, Project Associate-II (PAT-II) – Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Thermal Design, Project Assistant-I (PA-I) – Fitter, Senior PAT – Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical and 9 more. Qualification required: SSC/10th plus ITI (Fitter) for PA-I; B.Sc or 3 years Diploma in Engg/Tech for PA-II; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (with 2 or 3 years’ R&D experience for PAT-II and Senior PAT, or Masters/Integrated Masters) for the other posts. The pay is Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 42,000, depending on the post. Selection is by walk-in interview; selection based on performance in the interview or any other criteria adopted by the selection committee(s), if a large number of candidates appear, the Selection/Screening Committee may shortlist for the interview based on a written exam or any other criteria and panel of suitable candidates, valid for a maximum of one year; empanelment gives no automatic guarantee of engagement. Vacancy Details, Age Limit and Pay

Age is counted as on date of Walk-in-Interview.

Age relaxation for all posts: SC/ST/PwBD/Women 5 years, OBC 3 years.

Pay and Terms of Engagement

Monthly emoluments are printed as a fixed amount plus HRA; the HRA amount is not printed.

• Purely temporary and contract basis, for a short period and co-terminus with the project
• May be terminated at any time with one month’s notice from either side or one-month stipend in lieu
• Maximum duration in one project or different projects together in CSIR-NAL or other CSIR labs: not more than six years in any case
• No rights to continuation beyond tenure, absorption or regularization in CSIR
• Selected candidates should contact the Recruitment Section with original documents within 15 days for reporting date and time

1. Attend the walk-in interview on the date for your specialization with the duly filled application form in the prescribed format enclosed with the notice.
2. The application form is available on the website https://www.nal.res.in.
3. Do not send the application by post, speed post or e-mail.
4. Apply separately for each position you want to be considered for.
5. Report between 9.00 AM and 9.30 AM at the venue for registration and verification of documents; no registration after 09.45 AM.
6. Mention your category (SC/ST/OBC/PH/EWS) clearly and attach documentary proof if claiming age relaxation.
7. Attend on 12 November 2026, reporting at 9:00 AM.
