Pay and Tenure

The consolidated fixed salary is Rs 25,000/- per month. No allowances or facilities other than the approved consolidated emoluments and admissible HRA, if any, are payable.

• The post is purely temporary, contractual and co-terminus with the project.
• The initial appointment is for three months. It may be extended, based on satisfactory performance, project requirements and availability of funds, up to one year or until completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
• Any extension is subject to a satisfactory performance evaluation by the Principal Investigator and approval of the Competent Authority.
• Leave is admissible as per the rules applicable to project staff/contractual employees of AIIMS Rishikesh.

Selection and Interview

Candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of the information in the application form, qualifications and relevant experience. Only shortlisted candidates may be called for the selection process.

• The method of selection may include a written test, an interview, or both, as decided by the Selection Committee. If required, a written test may be held before the interview.
• The Selection Committee is constituted with the approval of the Competent Authority, AIIMS Rishikesh, and its decision is final.
• The interview is held at the Department of Pediatrics, AIIMS, Rishikesh, and the date will be communicated on the AIIMS, Rishikesh website.
• The interview is conducted only after physical verification of original documents. Requests for an online interview are not entertained.
• Permission to appear in the selection process does not mean a candidate fulfils the eligibility criteria. Eligibility is finally determined after verification of original documents.

Important Instructions

• At the time of document verification/interview, candidates must bring a duly completed hard copy of the application form, all original certificates/documents, and one set of self-attested photocopies.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the written test, document verification or interview.
• The selected candidate must join within five days of issue of the offer letter, failing which the offer may be cancelled and offered to the next eligible candidate.
• The selected candidate may be required to work at AIIMS Rishikesh or at any project-related site, as per project requirements.
• The post gives no right to regular appointment or absorption in AIIMS Rishikesh.
• Canvassing in any form leads to disqualification. Private practice of any kind is not permitted during the tenure.
• The appointee may resign by giving one month’s notice or salary in lieu thereof, subject to acceptance by the Competent Authority and completion of handover formalities.
• The appointment may be terminated by the Competent Authority, on the recommendation of the Principal Investigator, if performance or conduct is found unsatisfactory, as per applicable rules.
• AIIMS Rishikesh reserves the right not to fill the post, to cancel the recruitment process, or to modify the number of posts, without assigning any reason.
