All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajkot (Gujarat), a Central Autonomous Institute of National Importance under PMSSY, MoH & FW, has invited online applications from Indian citizens for one seat each in the Post-Doctoral Certificate Courses in Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence and Cross-Sectional Imaging (session January 2027). Each course lasts 01 year. The essential qualification is MD/DNB in the concerned subject, the upper age limit is 45 years as on the last date of application, and the pay is Level 11 of the Matrix with entry pay of ₹ 67,700/- per month plus NPA. Vacancy Details

Who Can Apply

* DNB in a subject from an Institute or Medical College recognized by MCI/NMC with experience according to NMC Guidelines. The notice reproduces clause 4A of the Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 on equivalence of DNB with MD/MS:

• (a) DNB training in an institution which now runs MCI recognized postgraduate degree courses in a given subject: the DNB is at par with the MCI recognized qualification in that subject only.
• (b) DNB training in a multi-speciality teaching hospital with at least 500 beds, involved in various postgraduate/super-speciality teaching programmes, provided one out of three DNB supervisors qualifies as postgraduate teacher as per MCI norms in his/her previous appointment and one out of the remaining two qualifies as postgraduate teacher as per MCI regulations: considered at par.
• (c) Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor, or work experience gained during DNB training, in other locations/institutions (100 or more bedded hospitals): one additional year as senior resident in an MCI recognized/permitted institution is required for equivalence.
• (d) The same three years of experience from an institution not covered in (a) to (c): two additional years as Sr. Resident/Research Associate (CSIR) in an MCI recognised/permitted medical college/institution are required for equivalence.

Qualifying examination deadline

The candidate should pass the qualifying examination by 28 February 2027 and the result should be declared on or before that date. Candidates who have appeared for the exam or viva voce with the result awaited may appear in the theory exam and/or interview provisionally. If the result is declared after 28.02.2027, the candidature stands cancelled.

Age Limit

The upper age limit as on the last date of application is 45 years. The notice prints no minimum age.

आवेदन करने के लिए उम्मीदवार के पास संबंधित विषय में MD या DNB होना चाहिए, जो MCI/NMC द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से हो। DNB और MD/MS के बराबरी के नियम भी लागू होते हैं। आयु सीमा 45 वर्ष तक है, जिसमें विभिन्न श्रेणियों के लिए छूट भी दी गई है। परिणाम 28 फरवरी 2027 तक घोषित होना चाहिए, अन्यथा आवेदन निरस्त होगा।

Pay and Tenure

The pay scale is ₹ 18,750 + 6,600 (Grade Pay) + NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) plus other usual allowance, or revised pay scale as per 7th CPC as applicable: Level 11 of the Matrix (pre-revised PB-3), entry pay of ₹ 67,700/- per month + NPA plus other usual allowance admissible under rules.

• Course fee: the selected candidate pays ₹ 50,000/- per annum (one time) on the day of admission.
• Bond: selected candidates execute a bond of ₹ 2,00,000/- on a Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of ₹ 100/- along with 2 sureties.
• Leave is as per the Senior Residency scheme, MoH & FW, Government of India.
• The appointment gives no right to claim permanent absorption; the contractual appointment may be renewed or terminated as decided by the Institute.

यह कोर्स 1 साल का है और चयनित उम्मीदवार को ₹67,700 मासिक वेतन के साथ NPA और अन्य भत्ते मिलेंगे। प्रवेश के समय ₹50,000 का कोर्स फीस देनी होगी। साथ ही ₹2,00,000 का बॉन्ड भी भरना होगा। नियुक्ति स्थायी नहीं होगी और इसे संस्था की नीति के अनुसार बढ़ाया या समाप्त किया जा सकता है।

Selection and Interview

Eligible applicants will be notified to appear in an MCQ-based exam followed by an interview. Candidates are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:6 per vacancy according to marks obtained in the exam. The final criteria give 80% weightage to the examination and 20% to the interview. Appearance in the interview does not entitle a candidate to selection.

The date and venue of the exam and interview will be notified on the Institute’s website. The list of eligible and subsequently selected candidates will be uploaded on www.aiimsrajkot.edu.in. The notice does not give the exam pattern, marks or duration.

How to Apply for AIIMS Rajkot Recruitment 2026

1. Apply online through the Google form link printed in the notice: https://forms.gle/2LL2aEJ4Db4psyL3A. The notice says applications can be made through online registration on www.aiimsrajkot.edu.in from 03 November 2026.
2. Submit the application by 12 December 2026, 12:00 Hrs.
3. Pay the application fee online only, using the payment link in the notice: https://erp.eshiksa.net/DirectFeesv3/AIIMSRajkotRecruitment. The fee, once remitted, is not refunded.
4. Do not send a hard copy of the online application or any document.
5. Bring a print copy of the online application form at the time of document verification.
6. Do not submit more than one application against a seat/department/subject. Duplicate applications lead to cancellation of all such applications without intimation, and the registration fee is forfeited.

Candidates bring the original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies, with the application form:

Candidates who do not produce the original documents at the interview will not be considered for selection.

Important Dates

Important Instructions

• Candidates in service in any Government institution must submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview; without it they will not be permitted for the interview.
• The appointment is full time and private practice of any kind is prohibited.
• The appointee will have to work in shifts and can be posted at any place in the Institute.
• No travelling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for joining the post.
• The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.
• Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
• False declarations or wilful suppression of material information can lead to removal from service and other action.
• The competent authority reserves the right to change the number of vacancies, withdraw the process in full or in part and reject any or all applications without assigning reasons.
