One Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position is open in a research project funded by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali, an autonomous research institute of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It carries a fellowship of Rs. 37,000/- (pm) + HRA (as funding agency guidelines), initially for one year. Candidates with M. Sc. About INST Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

The Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST) is an autonomous research institute of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, located at Knowledge City, Sector-81, SAS Nagar, Mohali-140306, Punjab. The JRF will work in the BRNS-funded project “Biomass derived agents to assist synergistic hydrogen and chemical production: Prototype Reactor Fabrication”. The Principal Investigator of the project is Dr. Kamalakannan Kailasam, Scientist-G.

Selection and Interview

Selection is through a walk-in interview held on 16th and 17th November, 2026. The reporting time is 10.00 a.m. and the venue is INST, Mohali. At the time of interview, candidates must present the original documents of age proof, certificates, degrees, mark sheets and other testimonials along with self-attested photocopies of these documents. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
