SBI के Group CISO पद के लिए उम्र अधिकतम 57 साल है और न्यूनतम 15 से 20 वर्षों का प्रासंगिक अनुभव जरूरी है। उम्मीदवारों के पास B.Tech/B.E., MCA, M.Tech या M.Sc जैसी मान्य डिग्री होना आवश्यक है। यह नौकरी संविदा आधारित है, इसलिए स्थायी नहीं है।

About State Bank of India (SBI)

State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the Group CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) post under Specialist Cadre Officer recruitment. The appointment is on a contractual basis.

The Group CISO position is a senior-level information and cyber security role responsible for areas such as cyber security strategy, regulatory compliance, information security governance, cyber risk management, and security operations.

SBI CISO Educational Qualification 2026

Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification as on 31 August 2026. The qualification should be obtained from a University, Institution or Board recognized by the Government of India or approved by Government regulatory bodies.

The official notification specifies these qualifications as the basic educational requirements for the Group CISO post. 

SBI CISO पद के लिए कंप्यूटर साइंस, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स या साइबर सिक्योरिटी जैसे विषयों में कम से कम 50% अंकों के साथ B.Tech/B.E., MCA, M.Tech या M.Sc की डिग्री जरूरी है। यह डिग्री भारत सरकार द्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से होनी चाहिए।

SBI CISO Age Limit 2026

The maximum age limit for the SBI Group CISO post is 57 years as on 31 August 2026.

Candidates should ensure that they satisfy the prescribed age requirement as on the specified eligibility date.

SBI CISO Experience Requirement 2026

Relevant post-qualification professional experience is an essential eligibility requirement for the SBI Group CISO post.

Teaching and training experience will not be counted towards the required eligibility experience.

पद के लिए न्यूनतम 15 से 20 वर्षों का आईटी या सूचना सुरक्षा क्षेत्र में अनुभव होना चाहिए, जिसमें कम से कम 5 वर्ष वरिष्ठ प्रबंधन स्तर पर बैंक या वित्तीय संस्थान में साइबर सुरक्षा से संबंधित अनुभव हो। शिक्षण या प्रशिक्षण अनुभव को मान्यता नहीं दी जाएगी।

SBI CISO Preferred Certifications

SBI has listed the following professional certifications as preferred for the Group CISO post:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

The applicable certificates should be valid as on the date of interview.

Desirable Experience for SBI CISO

Candidates who have worked as CISO or Deputy CISO are preferred. SBI has also listed experience in areas such as Information Security, Cyber Defence, Security Operations, Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Security Architecture, Cloud Security and IT Infrastructure as desirable.

Experience in dealing with Board-level stakeholders, regulators, auditors and executive leadership, as well as managing large-scale security transformation programmes and multidisciplinary teams, is also desirable.
