Qualification
SSC ASO Limited Departmental Competitive Exam 2025 is open only to serving government employees of specified feeder cadres:
Eligibility for CSS (DoPT): Officers in the Upper Division Grade of the Central Secretariat Clerical Service with at least six years’ approved service as on 1 July 2025.
Eligibility for MEA (Cadre Cell): Officers in the Upper Division Clerk Grade who have completed mandatory MEA training and have six years’ approved service as on 1 July 2025.
Disqualification: Candidates who resign, quit service, or are terminated after applying, or those appointed on transfer without lien in SSA/UDC grade, are not eligible unless on deputation with competent authority approval.
