Eligible and interested candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview on 28 October 2026 @10 am at the G.N. Ramachandran Seminar Hall, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Pondicherry University, Kalapet, Puducherry – 605014 for the temporary post of Project Associate-I under the ANRF-Partnerships for Accelerated Innovation and Research (ANRF-PAIR) Network project entitled “An Eight Institution Partnership for Advancing Materials Research and Development: From Fundamental Design to Emerging Applications in Structural, Functional and Biomaterials Spaces”. The position offers a monthly emolument of Rs. 37,000 + 20% HRA (Those who take hostel provided by PU, will not get HRA) for a duration of 1 year from the date of appointment.

About Pondicherry University Project Associate-I

Pondicherry University is conducting a walk-in interview to appoint one Project Associate-I on a temporary contract basis to work in a ANRF-Partnerships for Accelerated Innovation and Research (ANRF-PAIR) Network project entitled “An Eight Institution Partnership for Advancing Materials Research and Development: From Fundamental Design to Emerging Applications in Structural, Functional and Biomaterials Spaces” at Pondicherry University, Pondicherry. The positions are for 1 year from the date of appointment. As this project is a network project with Indian Institute of Science Bangalore as Hub and other Institutes (IEST Shibpur, Calicut University, Kuman University, Bangalore University and NIT Nagaland) as Spoke, during the project execution, the selected candidates may have to travel to these institutes for carrying out collaborative work.

Posts and Eligibility

Salary

Those who take hostel provided by PU, will not get HRA. This position is purely on contract and temporary. After the expiry of the term of the contract, the candidates shall not be entitled to any terminal benefits.

• Selection will be based on the interview and academic performances. The selected candidates will have to work under the supervision of Faculty in a suitable Department.
