NIT Mizoram में कुल 5 गैर-शिक्षण पद खुले हैं, जिनके लिए अलग-अलग शैक्षिक योग्यताएं हैं और आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि 30 नवंबर 2026 है। वेतन ₹18,000 से ₹35,400 के बीच है, जो पद के आधार पर भिन्न है।

Five non-teaching posts – Technical Assistant Group ‘B’ (1), Stenographer Group ‘C’ (1), Technician Group ‘C’ (1) and Office Attendant Group ‘C’ (2) – are open at the National Institute of Technology Mizoram (NIT Mizoram), an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, under Advertisement No. NITMZ/R-1/NT/15/2026/2219 dated 30 October 2026. Indian nationals must email the prescribed application form with documents and the fee receipt to [email protected]. The application must be received by 30 November 2026 (5:00 PM). All five vacancies are unreserved (UR), and applications are open as of 2 November 2026.

About NIT Mizoram

National Institute of Technology Mizoram, at Chaltlang, Aizawl, is an Institution of National Importance established by an Act of Parliament (NITSER Act 2007) under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India. It runs UG, PG and Ph.D programmes in Engineering, Science and Humanities. The posts in this advertisement follow the Recruitment Rules for Non-Teaching Staff in NITs – 2019, adopted by NIT Mizoram in its 14th Board of Governors meeting on 2 May 2019.

Where and How to Send

Applications for all the non-teaching posts must be emailed to the Registrar In-Charge, NIT Mizoram, at [email protected] on or before 30 November 2026 (5:00 PM). Applications received after the last date and time will be summarily rejected. The application form is not supplied on postal request.

1. Download the prescribed Application Form (Annexure-I) from the NIT Mizoram website www.nitmz.ac.in on A-4 size paper.
2. Fill in the application form completely, including the Summary Sheet, the declaration and the fee payment details (Transaction Ref. No., Transaction Date, Bank, Amount).
3. Fill in the Data Sheet (excel file); the notice says it must be sent along with the application.
4. Pay the application fee through online payment to the institute’s account and keep the payment receipt.
5. Prepare soft copies (word file or pdf) of the completed form, all self-attested supporting documents, the Annexure(s) and the payment receipt.
6. Email all of them to [email protected] so that they reach by 30 November 2026 (5:00 PM).

Candidates already in service in Government, Semi Govt., PSUs, Universities or Educational Institutions should apply through Proper Channel or furnish a No Objection Certificate at the time of the Competitive Written Examination/Trade Test/Selection Committee; they may send an advance copy of the form. NIT Mizoram will not be responsible for any delay, loss or undelivered email.

Application Fee

The fee must be paid through Online Payment Only to the account Name: NIT Mizoram MISC, A/C No.: 110258602373, Canara Bank, Aizawl, Mizoram, IFSC code: CNRB0003489. The payment receipt must be sent with the application form; an application without the payment receipt will be summarily rejected.

आवेदन शुल्क ऑनलाइन भुगतान करना अनिवार्य है, जिसमें सामान्य और ओबीसी के लिए ₹1000, एससी/एसटी के लिए ₹500 है, जबकि महिला व दिव्यांग उम्मीदवारों को शुल्क से छूट है। भुगतान रसीद के बिना आवेदन अस्वीकृत होगा।

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

The notice states only the pay level and the minimum basic pay for each post; it names no allowances.

प्रत्येक पद के लिए न्यूनतम वेतन ₹18,000 से ₹35,400 तक है और आयु सीमा 27 से 30 वर्ष के बीच है, जो पद के अनुसार अलग-अलग है। सभी पद सामान्य श्रेणी के लिए हैं।

Technical Assistant Group ‘B’ (Deptt. of Computer Science & Engineering)

• First Class or equivalent Grade in B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in relevant subject from a recognized University / Institute; OR
• First Class Diploma in Engineering in relevant Field with excellent academic record; OR
• First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or Institute; OR
• Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University or Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Technical Assistant पद के लिए इंजीनियरिंग, MCA या विज्ञान में प्रथम श्रेणी की डिग्री या डिप्लोमा जरूरी है।

Stenographer Group ‘C’

• Essential: Senior Secondary (10+2) from recognized Board with minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m in Stenography.
• Desirable: Proficiency in Computer Word processing and spread-sheet with advance skills.

Stenographer पद के लिए 10+2 पास होना जरूरी है और शॉर्टहैंड की गति कम से कम 80 शब्द प्रति मिनट होनी चाहिए। कंप्यूटर कौशल होना वांछनीय है।

Technician Group ‘C’ (Deptt. of Civil Engineering)

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science from a Government recognized Board with at least 60% marks; Or
• Senior Secondary (10+2) from a Government recognized Board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate Trade; Or
• Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 years duration in appropriate Trade; Or
• Diploma in Engineering of three year’s duration in Civil Engineering from a Government recognized Polytechnic / Institute.

Technician पद के लिए 10+2 विज्ञान में 60% या ITI/डिप्लोमा होना जरूरी है। विभिन्न योग्यता विकल्प उपलब्ध हैं।

Office Attendant (OA) Group ‘C’

• Senior Secondary (10+2) from a recognized Board.

Office Attendant पद के लिए 10+2 पास होना अनिवार्य है।

Age Limit and Relaxation

Candidates must attain 18 years of age. The upper limit is “not exceeding 30 years” for Technical Assistant and “not exceeding 27 years” for Stenographer, Technician and Office Attendant. The crucial date for age, qualifications and experience is the last date of submission of application, 30 November 2026 (till 5:00 PM). Date of Birth as per HSLC/HSC or Birth Registry will be accepted as age proof. Age relaxation in different categories shall be as per Government of India norms only.

आयु सीमा पद के अनुसार 27 या 30 वर्ष से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिए, जो 30 नवंबर 2026 तक मान्य होगी। सरकारी मानकों के अनुसार आयु में छूट मिलेगी।

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Only Indian nationals may apply.
• Experience of less than six months in any organisation will not be considered.
• OBC candidates must submit an OBC-NCL certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026 (format at Annexure-III); otherwise the application will be considered in the Unreserved (UR) category only.
• PwD reservation benefit applies only to persons with not less than 40% disability; a certificate showing less than 40% will be rejected.
• The caste of SC/ST/OBC candidates must be in the relevant state-wise central list; certificates must be in the prescribed proforma issued by the authorities named in the GoI OMs quoted in the notice.
• Female candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.

Enclosures

• Prescribed Application Form (Annexure-I) with a self-attested recent coloured passport photo affixed, and the Summary Sheet.
• Data Sheet (excel file).
• Fee payment receipt (not needed by fee-exempted women and PWD candidates).
• Self-attested copies of certificates and mark-sheets for every educational, technical or professional qualification claimed, and proof of date of birth.
• Experience certificate on the organisation’s letter-head, showing date of issue, period of work, name and designation of the issuing authority, signature and official seal.
• SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD certificate in the Govt. of India prescribed format (OBC-NCL issued on or after 1 April 2026).
• For in-service candidates: forwarding through Proper Channel or a No Objection Certificate, plus the Integrity Certificate and Vigilance Clearance Certificate in the format at Annexure-II.

आवेदन के साथ जरूरी दस्तावेज जैसे फोटो, प्रमाणपत्र, मार्कशीट, अनुभव पत्र और जाति/दिव्यांगता प्रमाणपत्र जमा करना अनिवार्य है। सरकारी कर्मचारी सही चैनल से आवेदन करें।

Selection Process

If applications are large in number, NIT Mizoram may shortlist candidates by methods it devises, including a Screening Test. Interviews stand discontinued for Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts; candidates will be recommended for appointment in order of merit on the basis of the Competitive Written Examination. The written papers are objective type. PwD candidates availing a scribe / reader / lab assistant get the compensatory time shown, and the minimum qualifying marks for Persons with Benchmark Disability are relaxable at the institute’s discretion if enough reserved-category candidates are not available.

Technical Assistant

Written examination of 200 marks (Paper I and Paper II), followed by a Trade Test of 50 marks that is qualifying in nature for those who secure the minimum qualifying marks.

Ties are resolved by higher marks in Paper II, then higher marks in Part A of Paper I, then date of birth (older first), then alphabetical order.

Technical Assistant पद के लिए लिखित परीक्षा 200 अंकों की होती है, जिसमें विषयवार न्यूनतम अंक आवश्यक हैं। इसके बाद क्वालिफाइंग ट्रेड टेस्ट भी देना होता है।

Stenographer

Written examination of 100 marks (Part A General Aptitude & Reasoning 30, Part B General Knowledge 30, Part C General English 40; minimum qualifying 30 marks; 2 hours plus 40 minutes compensatory time), followed by a qualifying Stenography Test.

Transcription is on computer only and includes time for reconciliation. There is no exemption from the Stenography Test for any category; the institute may reduce the qualifying standard only for reserved posts without adequate candidates. Ties are resolved by higher marks in Part C, then date of birth (older first), then alphabetical order.

Stenographer पद पर लिखित परीक्षा के बाद शॉर्टहैंड टेस्ट देना जरूरी है, जिसमें शब्दों की गति और शुद्धता का मूल्यांकन होता है।

Technician

Written examination of 100 marks: Part A General Aptitude & Reasoning (30), Part B General Science (30), Part C General Knowledge (40); minimum qualifying 30 marks; 2 hours plus 40 minutes compensatory time. Those who qualify will be called for a Trade Test of 50 marks (minimum qualifying 15, 45 minutes plus 20 minutes compensatory time), which is qualifying only. Ties are resolved by higher marks in Part A, then date of birth (older first), then alphabetical order.

Technician पद के लिए लिखित परीक्षा 100 अंकों की होती है, जिसके बाद क्वालिफाइंग ट्रेड टेस्ट देना होता है।

Office Attendant

A qualifying Trade Test of 50 marks is held first – either Knowledge of Basic Computer Applications (Word Processing, Spread Sheet etc.) OR a Driving Test (2 wheeler/Light Vehicle) under the supervision of MVI. Candidates securing 20 marks and above qualify for the written examination of 100 marks: Part A General Aptitude & Reasoning (30), Part B General Knowledge (30), Part C General English (40); minimum qualifying 30 marks; 2 hours plus 40 minutes compensatory time. Questions will be of a level an average matriculate can answer. Ties are resolved by Part A marks, then Part C marks, then date of birth (older first), then alphabetical order.

Office Attendant के लिए पहले ट्रेड टेस्ट देना जरूरी है, जो कंप्यूटर या ड्राइविंग का हो सकता है। इसके बाद लिखित परीक्षा होती है जिसमें न्यूनतम अंक आवश्यक हैं।

Important Dates

आवेदन की विज्ञप्ति 30 अक्टूबर 2026 को जारी हुई है और आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 30 नवंबर 2026 है।

Important Instructions

• Incomplete applications, and any fresh papers or enclosures sent after the closing date, will not be considered; canvassing leads to disqualification.
• The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on www.nitmz.ac.in; the written examination / trade test schedule will be sent by e-mail only and also placed on the website.
• Original documents will have to be produced at the Competitive Examination / Trade Test, if required.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Trade Test / Competitive Written Examination.
• Selected candidates must join within one month from the date of Declaration of Results / Offer of Appointment.
• Any of the posts could increase or decrease; NIT Mizoram reserves the right to fill or not to fill the posts without assigning any reason.
• Fake documents or wrong information will lead to summary termination of services, whenever detected.
