NEIAH Residential Medical Officer Eligibility 2026
Applicants must be citizens of India. Age is counted as on the date of interview, while the essential requirements and other conditions must be met as on the last date of receipt of applications.

- Preferable: experience of working in Medical Colleges, a Health institute or any organisation dealing with Bio-medical and Public health data.

Residential Medical Officers (Ayurveda)
- Qualification: MD/MS in Ayurveda from a recognized University and duly recognized NCISM Act 2020.
- Experience: minimum 8 years at a Central/State Govt., Autonomous organization or Public sector body as Faculty member, Medical Officer, Consultant or SRF.

Consultant (Pharmacy)
Candidates must meet either of these two routes:
- Route 1: MD (Ayurveda) in Rasa Shastra / Dravyaguna, or M. Pharma in Ayurveda, from a recognized University and duly recognized by NCISM, with minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing of Medicines.
- Route 2: B. Pharma in Ayurveda from a recognized University and duly recognized by NCISM, with minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing of Medicines.

Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test or interview, as the Institute deems fit. Those called may have to appear for a written test, skill test or interview at their own cost. The Director’s decision on eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection and allotment of posts is final and binding.
If no candidate is found suitable for appointment, the post will be filled by candidates eligible for a lower level post.

- The engagement is purely on contract, initially up to 31 March 2027.
- The competent authority may extend or curtail it at any time.
