Job Summary

KEA KSRP Police Constable Recruitment 2026 invites applications for 2314 Police Constable posts across Karnataka State Police including Special Reserve Police Constable (KSRP), Police Constable (KSISF), and Special Reserve Police Constable (IRB). Qualification

Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC or an equivalent qualification. As per Government Order No. 81 dated 27.02.2018, the following qualifications are considered equivalent:

• Class 12 examination conducted by CBSE or ICSE boards.
• Class 12 examination by other state education boards.
• Higher secondary education courses/certificates through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
• One-year vocational/ITI course after SSLC combined with passing one PUC subject via NIOS including language and technical/vocational subjects.

Further, as per Government Orders dated 06.08.2021 and 30.09.2021, private study courses and three-year diploma after SSLC from recognized institutions are also treated as equivalent under specified conditions. Candidates who did not study Kannada must clear the Kannada language qualifying exam unless exempted.

Note: Qualification must be acquired on or before the last date for application submission. Late qualifications will not be considered.

Age Limit
