Indian Maritime University is a Central University under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Government of India. The posts are at its Mumbai Port Campus (L.B.S. CAMSAR & MERI), Hay Bunder Road, Sewri, Mumbai – 400 033, which runs pre-sea courses such as B.Tech (Marine Engineering) and PGDME and post-sea competency, modular and simulator courses, as named in the duties of the faculty posts.

Workshop Instructor (Marine Engineering)

• To instruct students / assist the Faculty in Workshop / Simulators, etc.
• Maintenance, augmentation and upkeep of Workshop equipment / devices.
• Training of Inland Vessel Crew.
• Project-related work.
