Who Can Apply

Only Indian nationals can apply. The notice prints the essential qualifications for the JRF post in three parts:

1. Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course, selected through any one of the following:
   • a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
   • b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER etc.
2. M.E./ MTech. in Information Tech./Computer Science & Engineering OR B.E. / B.Tech. in Computer Sc. & Engineering / Information Technology/ Mathematics and Computing or equivalent OR Five years integrated BS-MS in Mathematics and Computing or equivalent.
3. CGPA above 7.5 (or at least 75% marks).

Desirable: Experience in cryptography and cybersecurity along with a solid background in programming.

When candidates have equal qualifications and experience, preference will be given to SC/ST candidates. See the official notification for the discipline-specific eligibility of the post.

आवेदन केवल भारतीय नागरिक कर सकते हैं जिनके पास PG डिग्री या समतुल्य योग्यता हो और वे CSIR-UGC NET, GATE या अन्य मान्यता प्राप्त राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा से चयनित हों। कंप्यूटर साइंस, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी या गणित व कम्प्यूटिंग में M.E./M.Tech या B.E./B.Tech होना अनिवार्य है। CGPA 7.5 या 75% से ऊपर होना चाहिए। क्रिप्टोग्राफी और साइबर सुरक्षा का अनुभव व प्रोग्रामिंग का अच्छा ज्ञान होने से उम्मीदवार को लाभ मिलेगा। समान योग्यता पर SC/ST उम्मीदवारों को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।
