IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2026 has one JRF(GATE) post in the research project “Futuristic risk assessment of temperature-humidity extremes due to climate change on human well-being and energy demand in the Indian sub-continent” at the School of Interdisciplinary Studies and Sustainability. Who Can Apply

Essential Qualification

The notice prints the qualification for the JRF(GATE) post as follows:

• Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in a professional course such as Water Resources Engg. / Energy /Electrical Engg., selected through a process described through any one of the following:
• 1. Scholars selected through GATE or National Eligibility Test CSIRUGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship).
• 2. The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISER etc.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Machine learning, Remote sensing and climate change will be preferred.
