Who Can Apply

Additional essential requirements include experience with numerical modelling and scientific programming, evidence of research ability through peer-reviewed publications or comparable scholarly outputs, and strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Desirable Qualification:

• Hands-on experience with hydrological and hydrodynamic models for flood and drought-related applications.
• Develop data-driven hydrological forecasting models, process satellite and sensor observations, and link regional climate projections to water management systems.
• Analyze geospatial, hydrometeorological, remote-sensing, and infrastructure datasets for Indian regions.
• Publish in high-quality journals, contribute to project deliverables, and collaborate with students and research partners.
• Build AI-driven digital twin platforms by integrating machine learning emulators with supercomputing infrastructure.
