About the Recruiting Office

The recruitment is conducted by the District Programme Officer, Hardoi, whose office (Child Development Department) is in Vikas Bhawan, Hardoi. The posts are in the Child Development Projects run in the urban and rural areas of Hardoi district. Vacancies by Project / Block

The 20 Child Development Projects of Hardoi district have 329 Anganwadi Worker and 333 Anganwadi Helper vacancies, a total of 662 posts.

Kothawan has the most posts (29 Worker and 47 Helper), followed by Shahabad (21 Worker and 46 Helper); Hardoi City is the only urban project. The Gram Sabha/ward-wise details of these posts, with reservation and full eligibility details, will be pasted on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil and Development Block offices of the district and uploaded on http://upanganwadibharti.in. The number of vacant posts may decrease or increase in special circumstances.

Who Can Apply

The same eligibility rules apply to both Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper posts.

• Gender: Only women candidates are eligible for the posts in this notification.
• Residence: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the same Gram Sabha or ward (urban) as the vacant post. Applications from another Gram Sabha or ward will not be valid.
• Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is Intermediate. The online merit will be prepared on the basis of the maximum educational qualification of postgraduate.
• Age: Minimum 18 years and not more than 35 years on the cut-off date 01.07.2026.
• Proof of age: Only the date of birth recorded in the High School marksheet and certificate is accepted.
• Income limit: Rs. 46,080.00 annual in rural areas and Rs. 56,460.00 annual in urban areas, as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14 September 2015 of Samaj Kalyan Anubhag-2, Uttar Pradesh Government.

Certificates accepted

• Income certificate: only a certificate issued online from the tehsil with a digital signature, issued at the competent level under Revenue Section-9 Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), that can be verified online.
• Caste and residence certificates: only certificates issued online from the tehsil with a digital signature that can be verified online.
• Widow: only a certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer or the concerned urban local body, together with a certified copy of the family register (Parivar Register).
• Divorced or abandoned woman: only a legal or court order.

Selection Process

An online merit is prepared on the basis of educational qualification, from the minimum of Intermediate up to the maximum of postgraduate. Selection for the Anganwadi Helper and Worker posts then follows this order of preference, always within the same Gram Sabha or ward (urban area):

1. Widow BPL candidate
2. Divorced/abandoned BPL candidate
3. BPL candidate
4. Widow APL candidate
5. Divorced/abandoned APL candidate
6. APL candidate on the basis of merit

The widow and divorced/abandoned status is accepted only on the certificates listed above.

चयन मेरिट सूची के आधार पर होता है, जिसमें इंटरमीडिएट से लेकर पोस्टग्रेजुएट तक की योग्यता देखी जाती है। चयन क्रम में विधवा बीपीएल, तलाकशुदा बीपीएल, बीपीएल, विधवा एपीएल, तलाकशुदा एपीएल, और फिर एपीएल मेरिट के अनुसार आते हैं। सभी श्रेणियां उसी ग्राम सभा या वार्ड के भीतर मान्य हैं।

How to Apply for Hardoi Anganwadi Recruitment 2026

1. Go to the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in, where the detailed form and information on the qualification and application process are available.
2. Fill in the online application between 6 November 2026 and 26 November 2026, up to 12:00 midnight.
3. Apply for a vacant post in your own Gram Sabha or ward only.
4. Check every entry, especially the marks obtained and maximum marks; no offline request for correcting an error will be considered.

Offline applications will not be accepted in any case.

Important Instructions

• If the application has any error, or any fact, figure or marks in the educational records is found false or forged, the candidature will be cancelled and the applicant will be responsible.
• For more information, candidates can contact the Child Development Project Office of the Development Block or the District Programme Officer (Child Development Department) office in Vikas Bhawan, Hardoi, on any office day during office hours.
• Child Development Project Officers have been directed to paste the Gram Sabha and reservation-wise list on tehsil and block notice boards and to inform the Gram Pradhan or ward member (Sabhasad) of the vacant posts.
• The notice is to be published free of charge in at least two local daily newspapers through the Information Department, Hardoi.
