The post of Vice-Chancellor at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.) under the Governor’s Secretariat Recruitment 2026 is open to distinguished academicians in Agriculture and allied subjects who possess a minimum of ten years of experience as Professor in a University or ten years of experience in an equivalent position in a reputed research or academic administrative organization. Pay and Terms

Appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor at Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.) is governed by the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1987 and subsequent modifications.

• The maximum tenure for the post of Vice-Chancellor is Five (5) years, or up to the age of Sixty Five (65) years, whichever is earlier.
• If already appointed, services are liable to be terminated without any notice from the post of Vice-Chancellor as per the Act / Statute etc. and other applicable rules / laws in the event of any information furnished being found false or incorrect at any stage.
