Essential qualification: M.Sc, Ph.D in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Genetics from a Recognized University WITH Research Experience of (2) years.

Desirable:

• Experience in ICMR/DHR/IDSP/CSIR/DBT/any other project/Medical college
• Publication in indexed journals
• Knowledge of Computer Application/Data Management

Lab Technician

Essential qualification: B. Sc in Life Sciences or B. Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a Recognized University.

Desirable:

• Laboratory experience with all technical skills including Biochemical techniques work experience with UV-Visible spectrophotometer, ELISA, Molecular biology techniques PCR, and RT-PCR
• Experience in Histopathology and IHC

Lab Assistant Cum DEO (Grade ‘A’)

Essential qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects or 2 Years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) with Computer technical qualification or B. Sc in Computer science from a recognized University.

Desirable: Experience maintain laboratory stock entry records & laboratory cleanliness protocols.

Pay and Tenure

HRA is paid on top of the monthly remuneration for Research Scientist-II, Research Scientist-I and Lab Technician. The Lab Assistant Cum DEO post carries a consolidated Rs. 20,000/-. The notice does not mention the HRA amount or rate.

• All posts are recruited on contract basis only for one year, which may be extended based on performance and sanction of funds.

How to Apply for GMC Mahabubnagar Recruitment 2026

Applications are offline only. The notice gives these steps:

1. Get the notification and application form from the Govt. Medical College, Mahabubnagar website (gmcmbnr-ts.org).
2. Fill in the application form and sign it. Applications not signed by the candidate are liable to be rejected.
3. Attach all the necessary documents.
4. Attach a non-refundable demand draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of “COLLEGE DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE MBNR”: Scientist Rs. 1000/-, Others Rs. 500/-.
5. Submit the application in person or by speed post to: Office of the Director, Govt. Medical College, Mahabubnagar – 509302.
6. Submit from 09-11-2026, 11.00 am, on or before 13-11-2026 by 5.00 pm, on working days only. Applications will not be accepted after the last date and time.

Selection and Interview

Selection will be done as per the guidelines of the Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. After scrutinising the applications received, eligible candidates will be called for interview.
