The GBPUAT Recruitment 2026 walk-in interview for an Emergency Medical Officer will be held on 16 November 2026 at 11.00 AM in the office of the Officer In-charge, University Hospital, Pantnagar. G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar (U.S. Nagar), Uttarakhand, is filling one post (Open Category) in its University Hospital on a contractual basis. The post pays an honorarium of Rs. 56100.00 per month. Posts and Eligibility

There is one Emergency Medical Officer post, in the Open Category, and it is filled on a contractual basis. The notice lists two essential qualifications:

1. MBBS from a recognized University which is recognized by Medical Council of India.
2. He/She should be registered with Uttarakhand Medical Council.

The age of the candidate must be below 60. The notice does not print an “as on” date for age. The honorarium is Rs. 56100.00 per month for a period of 11 months or until the post is filled by regular appointment, whichever is earlier. GBPUAT Emergency Medical Officer Job Description

• Upon selection, the Emergency Medical Officer shall be required to attend to the patients of University Hospital as per the time schedule decided by the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
• The Emergency Medical Officer shall be governed by the rules and regulations in force in the University from time to time, as well as the professional regulations prescribed by the Govt. of Uttarakhand.

चयनित एमरजेंसी मेडिकल ऑफिसर को विश्वविद्यालय के उपकुलपति द्वारा निर्धारित समय के अनुसार अस्पताल में मरीजों की देखभाल करनी होगी और उन्हें विश्वविद्यालय तथा उत्तराखंड सरकार के नियमों का पालन करना होगा।

2. Enclose self-attested photocopies of your educational and professional certificates and supporting documents.
3. Attach one recent self-attested passport-size photograph.
4. Send the application to the office of University Hospital by post, by hand, by courier or by email. It must reach the office on or before 14 November 2026 by 2.00 PM.
5. You may also send an advance copy of the filled application to [email protected].
6. Deposit the original application at the walk-in interview on 16 November 2026.

Important Instructions

• The appointment is purely on a contractual basis. The engagement is purely temporary, for a period of 11 months, and either side may end it with one month’s prior notice.
• If the work is not satisfactory, the University can terminate the contract without any notice.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.
• The University reserves the right to reject any or all of the applications without assigning any reason.
