There are a total of 3 vacancies for the Stenographer-Grade-III post across different offices in the District Courts of Nagaland.

Who Can Apply

Candidates must fulfill the following essential criteria as on the last date of receipt of online application:

Selection and Interview

The selection process comprises three stages:

• Stage-I (Written Examination – 200 marks): Part 1 covers General English, Precise writing, Essay writing, Drafting translation, and English Grammar (100 marks). Part 2 covers General knowledge, Current affairs, and Mathematics (100 marks). Candidates equal to 5 times the number of vacancies (1:5) in order of merit will qualify for Stage-II.
• Stage-II (Practical / Speed test – 50 marks): Shorthand test, computer proficiency, and typing test. Candidates equal to 3 times the number of vacancies (1:3) in order of merit will qualify for Stage-III.
• Stage-III (Interview / Viva Voce – 50 marks): Document verification and viva voce. Candidates must secure at least 60% marks (30 out of 50) to qualify the interview.
