Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) will hold a walk-in interview on 16 November 2026 (Monday) at 10.00 hrs at Dredging Corporation of India Ltd., PO – Guwahati, Gate No.2, IWAI – RO, 1st Floor, Pandu Port Complex, Guwahati, Dist: Kamrup Metropolitan, Assam 781012. Under Advertisement No. 05/2026, it is filling 3 Project Manager posts and 8 Hydrographic Surveyor posts on contract basis for Inland Dredging Works (National Waterways Projects). The pay is Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 65,000 (consolidated) for Project Manager and Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 (consolidated) for Hydrographic Surveyor.

Dredging Corporation of India Limited is owned by a consortium of four major ports: Visakhapatnam Port Authority, Paradip Port Authority, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority and Deendayal Port Authority. Its Head Office is at Dredge House, H B Colony Main Road, Seethammadhara, Visakhapatnam 530 022. The company provides integrated dredging and related marine services, and these contract posts are for Inland Dredging Works (National Waterways Projects) and other important assignments.

Posts and Eligibility

Both posts are on contract basis. The age limit for both is below 45 years as on the date of interview (16.11.2026), and experience is also counted as on the date of interview.

Project Manager (On Contract basis)

• Vacancies: 3 Nos (UR-3).
• Experience: 6 years experience in Civil Engineering works / infrastructural development projects / marine construction projects, etc., preferably in dredging projects / desiltation projects / Inland water works etc.
• Age: Below 45 years as on date of interview.
• Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- to Rs 65,000/- (consolidated), to be decided based on the post qualification experience and performance in the interview.
• Term: three years on yearly extension basis, based on performance, operational requirements and at the discretion of Management.
• Posting: West Bengal / Assam / NE Region; may be transferred to any place in India as per the requirements of the Company.

प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर के लिए 6 साल का सिविल इंजीनियरिंग या संबंधित क्षेत्र में अनुभव जरूरी है। पद की अवधि 3 साल की कॉन्ट्रैक्ट होगी, जो प्रदर्शन और जरूरत के हिसाब से बढ़ाई जा सकती है।

Hydrographic Surveyor (On Contract basis)

• Vacancies: 08 Nos. (UR-5, OBC-2, SC-1).
• Experience: 01 years experience in land / civil engineering surveys works, preferably in Hydrographic surveys.
• Age: Below 45 years as on date of interview.
• Remuneration: Rs.25,000/- to Rs.40,000/- (consolidated), to be decided based on the post qualification experience and interview.
• Term: three years on yearly extension basis, based on performance, operational requirements and at the discretion of Management.
• Posting: West Bengal / Assam / NE Region; may be transferred to any place in India as per the requirements of the Company.

हाइड्रोग्राफिक सर्वेयर पद के लिए कम से कम 1 साल का सर्वे कार्य का अनुभव होना चाहिए। वेतन और नियुक्ति अवधि प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर के समान है।

Relaxation in the age limit will be considered for SCs/STs/OBCs/PWD etc., as per the existing Government guidelines. The notice states that the prescribed qualification and experience are the minimum, and mere possession of them does not entitle a candidate to take part in the selection process. Project Manager

• Responsible for planning, monitoring and execution of project.

Hydrographic Surveyor

• Responsible for carrying out Hydrographic / land surveys / Civil Engineering survey works.

हाइड्रोग्राफिक सर्वेयर का काम जल और भूमि सर्वेक्षण करना, डेटा प्रोसेसिंग करना, चार्ट बनाना और संबंधित बिल तैयार करना होता है।

What Happens on the Day

Shortlisting will be done based on the information and declaration submitted by the candidate at the time of the walk-in interview. Candidates not fulfilling the criteria stipulated in the advertisement will not be allowed to attend the interview. Selection shall be based on interview, and the pay within each post’s range is decided on qualification, experience and performance in the interview. The list of selected candidates will be displayed on the DCIL website www.dredge-india.com in due course of time.
