The Chandigarh Institute for Transformation is hiring a Team Leader at Rs. 1,50,000 a month and two Sector Experts at Rs. 1,00,000 a month each. All three are contractual posts in Chandigarh with financial approval till Financial Year 2030-31. The Planning & Evaluation Organization, Finance Department, Chandigarh Administration, has invited the applications under SSM. Candidates must be below 50 years of age and hold the Masters, MBA or PGDM qualification printed for their post. The Chandigarh Institute for Transformation works under the aegis of the Planning & Evaluation Organization, Chandigarh Administration, at the Chandigarh Secretariat, Sector 9, Chandigarh. The posts serve the SIT, which works with NITI Aayog and the Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI). • Candidates should also have experience in leading teams and managing projects.
• Experience from an internship or training will not be considered.

Pay and Tenure

• Remuneration per month is Rs 1,50,000/- for the Team Leader and Rs 1,00,000/- for each Sector Expert. It is “Consolidated inclusive of all”.
• Appointment is contractual and made through the open market.
• Period of contract: financial approval till Financial Year 2030-31.
• Location of posting: Chandigarh.
• Leave: staff are entitled to the holidays listed by the Chandigarh Administration, plus 18 days of leave in the whole year.

Team Leader

• To develop & monitor KPIs for UT Chandigarh and prepare report on monthly basis.
• To collaborate with renowned institutions/organizations such as ISB, PEC, Panjab University etc. for keeping development roadmap aligned to latest sectoral advancements.
• Provide independent insight on strategy proposed by consultancy firms/UN agencies/International Organizations on monthly basis.
• To design and conduct 2 field surveys and studies on different sectors of the economy in collaboration with organizations of National and International repute.
• Maintain synergy between the Planning & Evaluation Organization, Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI) and NITI Aayog.
• To assist SIT in achieving its objectives in collaboration with NITI Aayog and the Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI).
• Preparation of development strategies, sectoral targets and socio-economic goals as per the UT’s requirements and roadmap to achieve the same.
• Draft policy briefs, presentations and other documents.
• Coordination with development partners and technical agency concerned.
• Support mechanisms for strengthening horizontal and vertical coordination within Chandigarh Administration.
• Assist UT in strengthening the monitoring & evaluation ecosystem.
• Create and facilitate cross learning platforms.

1. Get the application form from the Chandigarh Administration public notices page (www.chandigarh.gov.in/information/public-notices).
2. Write the post you are applying for at the top of the form and paste a passport size photograph.
3. Fill in the form’s sections: basic details, educational qualifications (graduation, post graduation, M.Phil., Ph.D. and any other, with discipline, institution, year and % marks), professional experience in reverse order starting with your present job, your 3 best past projects or assignments, the skill sets suited to the role, publications, and a personal statement of objective of 250 words.
4. List the documents you are enclosing in Section VIII of the form, then sign the undertaking with the date and place.
5. Attach self-attested copies of your testimonials.
