Pay and Terms

• The appointment is purely on contract basis, for up to 3 years, and is not a regular appointment. It will not be treated as a regular appointment.
• A candidate appointed on contract will be discontinued at any time if not required.
• A candidate can be terminated without prior notice at any stage if a qualified candidate is selected by the M.M.S.S. Board.
• Selected candidates will not be entitled to any holidays/vacation or any kind of leave available under the Service Rules for the permanent and regular employees of MCGM.
• Selected candidates must mark biometric attendance both when entering and when leaving the premises. Attendance is not considered valid if they fail to do so.
• Selected candidates must join within 7 working days.
• Selected candidates will be posted at Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Medical College & Dr. R.N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital.
• For the post of Assistant Professor, the notice refers to terms and conditions under sanction no. Director/M.E. & M.H./490 dated 28 May 2024, which it says are attached. These terms are not printed in the pages of the notice.

Applications are offline, in the prescribed format. The notice gives these steps:

1. Fill in the prescribed application form completely in your own handwriting. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
2. Write your full correspondence address with PIN code, along with your telephone number, mobile number and e-mail ID.
3. Affix a recent passport size photograph to the form and sign it at the place provided.
4. Attach self-attested xerox copies of the documents listed below.
5. Pay the application form fee of Rs.870 + GST (18%) = Rs.1028/-. The notice does not say how the fee is paid.
6. Make sure the application reaches Ground floor, Administrative Office, New Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Medical College building, Vileparle (West), Juhu, Mumbai – 400056 on or before 3 November 2026, up to 12.00 pm.
