Selection Process
A Selection Committee set up under Rule 4 of the Bihar Law Officers (Engagement) Rules, 2023 selects and recommends advocates, and engagement follows that recommendation. Sending a willingness does not give anyone a right to be engaged. All rights over selection and engagement stay with the Law Department, and its decision is final.

- Download the official notification and take out the willingness format enclosed with it.
- Fill in the format on A-4 paper. Keep the writing clear and short, and paste a recent photograph in the box provided.
- Fill in every item, from your name, father’s or husband’s name, date of birth and PAN through to your income tax details. Then sign the declaration with the date and place.
- Attach the documents listed below. Sign the document list with your name.
