How to Download Rank Card

1. Go to the official ASTU website, astu.ac.in, or the result portal at astu.formsrec.in.
2. Look for the "Assam CEE Result 2026" or "Download Rank Card" notification on the homepage and click it.
3. Enter your login credentials your Application Number along with your Password (or Date of Birth, where applicable).
4. Submit the details to access your personalised candidate dashboard.
5. Your scorecard, showing marks and rank, will appear on screen.
6. Download the rank card as a PDF and take a printout you'll need physical and digital copies during counselling and document verification.

Merit List and Tie-Breaking Rules

• First, the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) aggregate marks of Class 12 are compared.
• If the tie persists, the combined aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English in Class 12 is considered.
• If candidates remain tied even after this, the matter is resolved at the discretion of the Chairman of the Selection Committee.

Counselling and Admission Process

• Registration on the official counselling portal using rank card credentials
• Document upload and verification (Class 10/12 marksheets, category certificates, photographs, signature, etc.)
• Submission of college and branch preferences in order of priority
• Payment of the counselling registration fee through the prescribed online mode

Exam Details and Eligibility Criteria

• Eligibility required candidates to be permanent residents of Assam, having passed (or appeared in) Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, securing a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for SC, 40% for ST candidates).
• The age criterion was 17 to 21 years as of 1st August 2026, with a 3-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
• The exam consisted of multiple-choice questions, with 40 questions each from Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, for a total of 480 marks.
