The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will hold the interview/viva-voce for the post of Research Assistant under the Finance (Budget) Department on 30/10/2026. APSC will not send intimation letters by post. Eligible candidates must download their own letter from the official website once it is uploaded on 26/10/2026.

Documents Required for APSC Research Assistant Interview (Originals)

Candidates must bring the following testimonials in original, along with self-attested photocopies arranged in chronological order, for verification and scrutiny on the day of the interview.

1. H.S.L.C. / H.S. Admit Card / Mark Sheet / Pass Certificate as proof of age.
2. H.S.L.C. Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
3. H.S.S.L.C. Mark Sheet and Pass Certificate.
4. Degree Mark Sheet (all semesters) and Pass Certificate.
5. CGPA Conversion Formula of the respective institute/university.
6. Valid Permanent Resident Certificate / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
7. State Government employees of Assam must submit a No Objection Certificate from their respective employer, or a Permanent Resident Certificate / Employment Exchange Registration Certificate as domicile proof.
8. Caste / Updated PwBD Certificate / Ex-Servicemen Card (if applicable).
9. BPL card reflecting the candidate’s name (if applicable, for BPL candidates).
10. Declaration Form A (may be downloaded from the APSC website).
11. An affidavit addressing and affirming the correct details, if documents have inconsistencies in name, father’s name etc. (if applicable).
12. Any other documents that may be relevant as per the advertisement.
