All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rishikesh (AIIMS Rishikesh) has notified 4 vacancies for Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical), Project Technical Support III, Project Technical Support II, and Project Technical Support I posts on a contract basis. The engagement is purely contractual for 6 months or until the completion of the project, with qualifications and pay varying by post. Pay and Tenure

The positions are purely contractual under an ICMR-funded extramural research project for a duration of 3 years. The initial contract is valid for a period of 6 months or until project completion, whichever is earlier, and is renewable annually based on performance. Remuneration consists of a consolidated monthly pay along with House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 10% (₹5,600 for Project Research Scientist-I; ₹2,800 for Technical Support-III; ₹2,000 for Technical Support-II; and ₹1,800 for Technical Support-I). Only consolidated salary and specified HRA are admissible; no additional allowances or facilities are provided.

Selection and Interview

Selection will be based on a written examination or interview, or both, as determined by the Recruitment Committee. Candidates will be shortlisted based on essential and desirable qualifications, and only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. The interview is scheduled for 3 November 2026, 10:00 AM onwards at the Departmental Seminar Hall, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, AIIMS Rishikesh. Selected candidates must join within 5 working days from the date of result declaration.
