Who Can Apply

• The holder of the post shall be an academician not lower than that of a University Professor.
• A Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scale.
• At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000/- and above, or 8 years of service in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor, along with experience in educational administration.
• OR comparable experience in a research establishment and (or) other institutions of higher education.
• OR 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.
• Knowledge of Tamil is essential (written and spoken).
• Qualification is relaxable in exceptional cases.

Age: the notice states that the age of superannuation for the post is 58 years. It prints no separate minimum or maximum age for applying. Only women candidates are invited. Candidates should check the UGC prescribed qualifications before applying. M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees obtained through Correspondence, Distance Education or the Open University System are ineligible for Government appointments.

Pay and Terms

The pay is Pay Matrix Level 14 plus allowances admissible under the rules of the University. The notice prints no rupee amount. The term of appointment is 3 years at a time. The University reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up the post.

How to Apply for Mother Teresa Women’s University Recruitment 2026

1. Download the application form from the University website, www.motherteresawomenuniv.ac.in. The form is also printed in the notice.
2. Fill in the form in the prescribed format and affix a recent passport size photo. Forms not in the prescribed format will be rejected without intimation.
3. Send eight copies of the application with bio-data: three copies with complete enclosures and five copies without enclosures.
4. Enclose the SBI demand draft for the application fee, and attested photocopies of certificates proving age, educational qualifications and experience.
5. Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel or produce a No Objection Certificate from the employer.
6. Make sure the application is received by 05.12.2026. Late applications will not be considered, and the University is not responsible for delay in transit.

The notice does not print a separate postal address for sending applications. The University’s address given in the notice is Mother Teresa Women’s University, Attuvampatty, Kodaikanal-624 101, Dindigul District, Tamilnadu.
