The School of Human Studies at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has invited applications for three temporary posts, one each of Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical), Project Technical Support-I and Project Technical Support-II, under an ICMR-funded project. Each post is for six months, extendable, with remuneration as per ICMR norms. A postgraduate degree with minimum 55% marks is required and the upper age limit is 35 years. AUD is a public university of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, established under the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi Act, 2007. The three posts serve the ICMR-funded D-RESeT project on digital addiction among university students in Delhi NCR. Who Can Apply

• Prior experience in funded research projects, preferably in areas related to behavioural addiction, clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience/neuropsychology, neurofeedback, and EEG data acquisition and analysis.
• Experience in experimental design and programming using EPrime and/or PsychoPy.
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods, systematic literature reviews (SLRs), and meta-analysis.
• Ability to design and implement experimental paradigms and undertake data collection, analysis, interpretation, and research report writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical or qualitative analysis software, such as SPSS, R, MATLAB, and NVivo.
• Strong academic writing, communication, coordination, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and statistical or qualitative data analysis software such as SPSS, NVivo, or equivalent tools.
• Good academic writing, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Pay and Tenure

Remuneration for all three posts is “as per ICMR norms”; the notice prints no amount. Each post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The duration is six months, extendable based on performance and requirements. Based on performance review, the contract can be terminated on 15 days’ notice anytime during the term. The services of a selected candidate may also be terminated if performance is found unsatisfactory, in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of engagement.

AUD Recruitment 2026 Job Description

For each post the notice says the project requires a self-motivated candidate with strong communication and coordination skills to support the successful execution of project objectives. The key responsibilities are listed below.

Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)

• Undertake primary and secondary research, including literature reviews, secondary data analysis, and the systematic organization and documentation of research materials.
• Conduct systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses, as required, and assist in designing and implementing experimental paradigms.
• Coordinate and support data collection and field research activities, including fieldwork planning, logistics, and liaison with relevant stakeholders.
• Assist in questionnaire development, data transcription, compilation, entry, coding, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
• Support the preparation of research outputs, including manuscripts for academic journals, research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and other project-related documentation.
• Maintain research records, project documentation, and data in an organized and systematic manner.
• Coordinate project-related logistics and facilitate communication among team members and external stakeholders.
• Undertake other research-related responsibilities assigned by the Project Team in accordance with the project objectives.

4. Attach a one-page Statement of Interest (up to 500 words) explaining the applicant’s suitability for the project.
5. For Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical) only, also attach up to two publications or a relevant published writing sample in English (approximately 2,000 – 4,000 words).
6. Submit by 11 November 2026. Incomplete applications and applications containing plagiarized writing samples will be summarily rejected.
