यह नौकरी 21 नवंबर 2026 को आयोजित होने वाली है जहां केवल एक वरिष्ठ शोध सहयोगी के पद के लिए पद उपलब्ध है। उम्मीदवारों को सुबह 10 बजे से 11 बजे तक पंजीकरण करना होगा और 11:30 बजे इंटरव्यू शुरू होगा। यह एक अस्थायी कॉन्ट्रैक्ट पद है, जिसकी अवधि परियोजना के साथ ही समाप्त होगी। उम्मीदवारों की उम्र अधिकतम 35 वर्ष होनी चाहिए और योग्यता में M.Sc प्रथम श्रेणी में होना आवश्यक है, साथ ही NET या Ph.D होना भी जरूरी है। वेतन के साथ 18% HRA भी मिलेगा।

The walk-in interview for one post of Senior Research Associate will be held on 21 November 2026, with enrollment from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and the interview starting at 11:30 AM. The venue is the Office of Conservator of Forest, Plantation, Research & Evaluation, Block -B, Van Bhavan, Doranda, Ranchi-834002 Jharkhand (Palas Sabhagar). The office, under the Department of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, Government of Jharkhand, is filling the post on a purely temporary basis, co-terminus with the Scientific Forestry Management Unit (SFMU) project, at Rs. 42,000/- + 18% HRA per month (Advertisement No. R-2/2026-27).

Posts and Eligibility

There is one temporary position under the SFMU project. The notice calls it Senior Research Associate in its text and “Senior Research Fellow (Senior Project Associate)” in the post table; it is the same single post.

Essential Qualification

• First Class M.Sc in Forestry/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Statistics/ Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS)/ Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Biotechnology.
• 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.
• Those with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree must have UGC/ CSIR/ ICAL/ ICFRE NET qualification or equivalent/ Ph.d in any of the above disciplines.

उम्मीदवारों के लिए आवश्यक योग्यता में संबंधित विषयों में प्रथम श्रेणी M.Sc होना आवश्यक है। जिनके पास 3 साल की बैचलर और 2 साल की मास्टर डिग्री है, उन्हें NET या Ph.D जैसी मान्यता प्राप्त योग्यता भी होनी चाहिए।

Desirable Qualification

• Experience and willingness to work in forest with the forest communities.
• A good understanding of their respective subjects and its application in forestry sector.
• Good knowledge in drafting research articles, formal letters, computer operation/ application.
• 4 year work experience in research and development in their respective fields.

Proficiency in computer application, especially MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point), may be an added benefit to the candidate. The candidate should be medically fit to work in different forest areas of the State of Jharkhand. Age Limit

Age, as on the date of interview, i.e. 21.11.2026, should not exceed 35 years. A further relaxation of 4 years in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC/women candidates as per approved rules.

उम्र सीमा 35 वर्ष है, लेकिन अनुसूचित जाति/जनजाति, ओबीसी और महिला उम्मीदवारों को नियमों के अनुसार 4 वर्ष की छूट दी जाएगी।

Pay and Terms of Appointment

• The post is purely contractual and co-terminus with the project, with no provision for regularisation.
• The initial appointment will be for one year or up to the project period (as the case may be).
• The project period is printed as 4 years.
• The contract may be terminated even before the completion of the project, and no appeal will be entertained.

What Happens on the Day

1. Reach Palas Sabhagar, Block -B, Van Bhavan, Doranda, Ranchi-834002, and enrol between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Candidates arriving after this time may not ordinarily be entertained.
2. A qualifying test (written) may be conducted before the interview.
3. The interview before the selection committee starts at 11:30 AM.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
