Three contract posts – 1 Accounts Officer and Cash Accountant (Lekha Adhikari tatha Rokhlekhapal) and 2 Assistant Administrative Officer (Sahayak Prashaskiy Adhikari) – are open only to officers and employees retired from any department of the Maharashtra State Government, at the State Cooperative Election Authority (Rajya Sahakari Nivadnuk Pradhikaran), Maharashtra State, Pune. Applications in the prescribed form go to the Member Secretary at Old Central Building, Ground Floor, Pune 411001 by post or by hand, or by email to [email protected]. The application period is from 2 November 2026 to 18 November 2026, and applications received after the prescribed period will not be considered.

The State Cooperative Election Authority, Maharashtra State, Pune is an independent and autonomous authority set up in Pune through a notification dated 30/03/2013. Its office is at Old Central Building, Ground Floor, Pune-411001 (phone: (020) 26050641, email: [email protected]). This recruitment is made on contract under the provisions of the Maharashtra Government General Administration Department Government Resolution (GR) No. CBE 1525/Pr.Kr.37/Asthamam(Ka.13) dated 10 June 2025.

Where and How to Send

Use the prescribed application form (Vihit Namuna Arj). It is printed with the notice and can be downloaded from www.maharashtra.gov.in, https://sahakarayukta.maharashtra.gov.in, www.mahasugar.in and https://scea.maharashtra.gov.in. Forms are also available at the Authority’s office.

1. Download the prescribed application form from one of the websites above, or collect it from the Authority’s office.
2. Write your date of birth, date of retirement, correspondence address, telephone/mobile number and email ID clearly and correctly in the form.
3. Attach a true photocopy of your Pension Payment Order (PPO) and the other enclosures listed below.
4. Send the application by post to: Member Secretary, State Cooperative Election Authority, Maharashtra State, Pune, Old Central Building, Ground Floor, Pune 411001.
5. Or hand it in at the same office, in the prescribed form and within the prescribed period.
6. Or email it to [email protected].

The notice does not mention any subject line for the email or any wording for the envelope. Applications received after the prescribed period will not be considered.

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Eligibility for both posts

• Only officers/employees who have retired from the relevant pay scale in any department of the State Government may apply.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the proposed pay scale for the post, or the special qualification required for the specific work.
• The official notification does not specify the minimum educational qualification. The application form asks for details of SSC, HSC, diploma (if any), degree, postgraduate degree, GDC&A, MS-CIT/other computer and typing qualifications.

Age limit

Officers/employees retired from government service who have not completed 65 years of age are eligible for contract appointment. Those appointed can work only up to the age of 65. The notice gives no “as on” date for age.

Remuneration

For both posts, remuneration is payable as stated in GAD GR No. CBE 1525/Pr.Kr.37/Asthamam(Ka.13) dated 10 June 2025. As per Annexure A of that GR, the monthly remuneration will be fixed at an amount equal to the pension with dearness allowance admissible on the date of appointment. Once fixed, it stays the same for the contract period (maximum 3 years). The pay scales in the table above are the scales from which applicants must have retired, not the pay of the contract post.

Candidates should check the official notification for the post-specific eligibility of each post.

दोनों पदों के लिए जरूरी है कि आवेदक संबंधित वेतनमान से कम से कम 3 साल का अनुभव रखें और 65 वर्ष से कम उम्र के हों। वेतनमान वह है जिससे वे सेवानिवृत्त हुए हैं, कॉन्ट्रैक्ट वेतन नहीं। आवेदन में शैक्षिक योग्यता के बारे में स्पष्टता नहीं है पर फॉर्म में विवरण भरना आवश्यक है।

Enclosures

• True photocopy of the Pension Payment Order (PPO).
• Photocopies, self-attested, of all documents mentioned in the form.
• Attested copy of the PPO number booklet, attested by the office from which you retired.
• Details of any disciplinary action during service. If there was none, a photocopy of the nil certificate given by your office at retirement.

The form also asks for your Aadhaar number, PAN, PPO number, date of retirement, the name and branch of the bank where you draw your pension, and your account number. It also asks for details of your government service (posts held, periods of service and awards) and your details at retirement (office, pay scale, basic pension after commutation, sanctioned pension and basic pay with grade pay on the date of retirement). You sign a declaration that the information is true. In it you also accept that the appointment is purely contractual and temporary and gives you no lien or right to any government post. You also undertake to produce true copies of your certificates when asked.

Selection Process

The applications received will be scrutinised and eligible applicants will be called for an oral interview. The notice does not give an interview date.

आवेदन की जांच के बाद योग्य उम्मीदवारों को साक्षात्कार के लिए बुलाया जाएगा। साक्षात्कार की तारीख बाद में सूचित की जाएगी।

Important Dates

आवेदन प्रक्रिया 2 नवंबर 2026 से शुरू होकर 18 नवंबर 2026 को समाप्त होगी। इस अवधि के बाद प्राप्त आवेदन स्वीकार नहीं किए जाएंगे।

Important Instructions

• The contract appointment is for a maximum of one year at a time.
• The contract may be renewed every year for a further period, based on a performance evaluation report/criteria and the needs of the work, if the Authority needs it. The total period will not exceed three years.
• Service conditions of the contract staff will be as per GAD GR No. CBE 1525/Pr.Kr.37/Asthamam(Ka.13) dated 10 June 2025.
• The Authority has reserved the right to reduce the number of posts or not to fill any of the posts.
• If any information is found false or incorrect at any stage of selection or after appointment, the selection/appointment is liable to be cancelled without notice, and legal action may follow.
