The Consultant shall provide professional advice and assistance to the University in the following areas:
- Sports Administration and Planning: Advise on sports policies, annual sports plans, and development programmes; assist in establishing selection procedures for University teams; coordinate with sports committees and federations.
- Sports Coaching and Athlete Development: Develop structured training programmes; identify promising athletes; advise on the engagement of qualified coaches; monitor team performance.
- Physical Education and Student Participation: Promote physical education and fitness; recommend initiatives for women students and students with disabilities; assist in organizing athletic meets and sports festivals.
- Sports Infrastructure and Facilities: Assess existing infrastructure; recommend development, renovation, and maintenance; advise on procurement and inventory management of sports equipment.
- Competitions, Events and External Coordination: Assist in hosting Inter-University and other approved competitions; coordinate with participating institutions and technical officials.
- Budgeting, Monitoring and Reporting: Assist in preparing annual sports budgets and expenditure plans; submit periodic progress reports.
- Policy and Advisory Functions: Assist in framing new guidelines; advise on government schemes and sports-development initiatives.
