Vacancy Details, Age Limit and Pay

लाइब्रेरियन पद के लिए अधिकतम आयु 56 वर्ष है और अनुभव कम से कम 10 साल का होना चाहिए, जबकि डिप्टी लाइब्रेरियन के लिए आयु सीमा 50 वर्ष है और अनुभव 8 साल चाहिए। वेतन दोनों पदों के लिए 7वें CPC के अनुसार अलग-अलग स्तर पर है।

Qualification required: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.; Ph.D. Degree in library science / information science / documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping.; Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in a library. Experience required: At least 10 years as Dy. Librarian (Level-12, including minimum 3 years in Level-13A) in the Library of any Technical University, Educational Institute of National importance, or any other large Technical Library. Age limit: Maximum 56 years. Pay: Pay Level-14.

Deputy Librarian (1 post)

Qualification required: Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.; Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science/documentation / archives and manuscript-keeping.; Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in a library. Experience required: At least 8 years as Assistant Librarian (Level-10, should have gained experience for at least 2 years in Level-11), in the Library of any Higher Education Institute/University, Educational Institute of National importance, or any other large Scientific or Technical Institute Library. Age limit: Maximum 50 years. Pay: Pay Level-12.

लाइब्रेरियन पद के लिए कम से कम 10 साल का डिप्टी लाइब्रेरियन का अनुभव और अधिकतम आयु 56 वर्ष है। डिप्टी लाइब्रेरियन के लिए कम से कम 8 साल का असिस्टेंट लाइब्रेरियन का अनुभव चाहिए और अधिकतम आयु 50 वर्ष है। दोनों पदों पर पीएचडी अनिवार्य है।

• Appointment will be made on probation for a period of one year for all regular positions.
