National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) has invited applications for 1 Research Associate-I position under the DBT-funded project titled “INVESTIGATING THE LINK BETWEEN P53 P300S MUTATON AND COLON CANCER DEVELOPMENT USING INDIAN PATIENT SAMPLES, CELLULAR AND ANIMAL MODEL SYSTEMS”. About NIBMG Research Associate-I

The National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), is an autonomous institution under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, and part of BRIC. This recruitment is intended for a research project with Principal Investigator Dr. Sagar Sengupta and Co-Principal Investigator Dr. Arindam Maitra. The appointment is initially for one year, which is extendable depending upon performance and requirements of the project.

Who Can Apply

आवेदन के लिए जरूरी योग्यता में Ph.D., MD, MS, MDS या समकक्ष डिग्री शामिल है या फिर MVSc, M.Pharm, ME, M.Tech के बाद 3 साल का शोध एवं शिक्षण अनुभव होना चाहिए, साथ ही कम से कम एक SCI जर्नल में रिसर्च पेपर भी होना जरूरी है। उम्मीदवार के पास मानव कोशिकाओं, पशु मॉडल, बायोकेमिस्ट्री, आणविक जीवविज्ञान और इमेजिंग में काम करने का अनुभव हो तो यह वांछनीय होगा।

NIBMG Research Associate-I Job Description

• Should be capable of carrying out cell biology experiments in human cells, animal models, biochemistry, molecular biology and imaging.
• The candidate will be expected to do animal experiments, cell biology, molecular biology and biochemical assays in labs of collaborators outside NIBMG from time to time.
