Response Sheet vs Answer Key: What Is the Difference?

Many candidates confuse the two documents. Both are needed to work out your score.

How to Calculate Your Expected Score

The AP Special TET has no negative marking, and each question carries one mark. Your expected score is simply the number of correct answers.

1. Download your response sheet and the provisional key for your paper and shift.
2. Match each marked answer with the key.
3. Count the correct answers. Each correct answer gives 1 mark.
4. Do not deduct anything for wrong or unattempted questions.
5. Compare your total with the qualifying marks for your category.

The score is only an estimate, because the key can change after objections are reviewed.

AP Special TET Qualifying Marks

The qualifying percentages listed for the Special TET are given below, along with the equivalent marks out of 150. Please confirm them in the official information bulletin before relying on them.
