All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, Department of Neonatology, has invited applications for the post of Project Nurse III (Project Staff Nurse) on a purely temporary/contractual basis under the ICMR-funded Extramural Research Project titled “Use of Point of Care Automated Blood Culture System in Decreasing Antibiotic Usage in NICU: A Multicentric Randomized Controlled Trial”. The walk-in interview will be held on 02.11.2026, with reporting time from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, at the Model Early Intervention Centre (MEIC), Second Floor, OPD Building, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur, Basni, Phase 2nd, Jodhpur – 342005. The monthly salary is ₹33,600 (₹28,000 + 20% HRA).

This recruitment is conducted by the Department of Neonatology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur, for an ICMR-funded Extramural Research Project under Principal Investigator Dr. Sushil Choudhary, Associate Professor. The initial tenure of the appointment will be for 6 months, which may be extended further based on project requirements, availability of funds, and performance appraisal, subject to applicable ICMR and institutional rules.

The selected candidate should be willing and available to work in rotational shifts, including night duties, weekends, and holidays, as per the requirement of the project.

What Happens on the Day

Candidates must report between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM on 02.11.2026. Closing time to report for the interview is 10:00 AM on the same day, after which no additional candidates will be entertained. A Screening/Scrutiny Test or written test may be conducted, if required, for shortlisting/selection of candidates for final interview depending on the number of applicants. Candidates must appear in person for the Walk-In-Interview along with all relevant original documents and self-attested photocopies.
