Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is recruiting candidates for 1 FibroScan Technician post on a temporary basis through a walk-in interview scheduled for 29 October 2026. Eligible candidates attending the walk-in process must report for form submission between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, with the interview starting at 11:00 AM. Applicants for the post must possess a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT) from a recognized institution along with a minimum 1 year experience in FibroScan/Liver Elastography, patient handling and clinical data management, with the age not exceeding 40 years as on the last date of application. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated pay of Rs. 30,000 per month and must undertake extensive Pan-India travel for project-related camps and field visits.

About ILBS FibroScan Technician

The Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is an autonomous institute under the GNCT of Delhi and a Deemed to be University Under Section 3 of UGC Act. The FibroScan Technician position is for the project “Y-SMilES” and is to be filled on a purely temporary basis till the completion of the project (March 2027) based on performance and/or availability of funds, as applicable.

Posts and Eligibility

The post of FibroScan Technician requires a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT) from a recognized institution. Candidates must also possess a minimum of 1 year experience in FibroScan/Liver Elastography, patient handling and clinical data management. The age limit for this post is not exceeding 40 years as on the last date of application. Certified training in FibroScan operation and Liver Elastography is desirable.

ILBS FibroScan Technician Job Description

The responsibilities for the FibroScan Technician include:

• Perform FibroScan/Liver Elastography and ensure accurate scan acquisition.
• Prepare patients, explain the procedure and maintain patient records.
• Maintain FibroScan equipment and procedure logs.
• Prepare and maintain Excel sheets for patient/data records and periodic reporting.
• Follow safety, hygiene and infection-control protocols.
• Coordinate with the clinical team during screening activities.
• Undertake extensive Pan-India travel for project-related camps and field visits.
• Any other work assigned by PI.

FibroScan Technician का काम तकनीकी स्कैन करना, रोगियों को तैयार करना, रिकॉर्ड रखना और पूरे देश में परियोजना से जुड़े कैंपों में यात्रा करना होता है। यह पद तकनीकी दक्षता और टीम के साथ समन्वय का मांग करता है।

What Happens on the Day
