Pay and Tenure

Monthly emoluments are Rs.20,000/- + 20% HRA. The appointment is initially for a period upto 21.09.2027, likely to be extended upto 21.09.2028.

How to Apply for SCTIMST Project Scientist (Professional)

1. Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE through Institute website ( https://www.sctimst.ac.in/Recruitment/ ).
2. Upload scanned copies of certificates to prove age, qualifications, experience and a valid non-creamy layer certificate (for OBC candidates) in the prescribed format applicable for employment in Central Govt. Institutions issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of a Tahsildar.
3. Submit the application online on or before 05.11.2026 5.00 pm.

आवेदन केवल ऑनलाइन करना होगा और सभी आवश्यक दस्तावेज जैसे आयु, योग्यता, अनुभव, तथा ओबीसी उम्मीदवारों के लिए मान्य गैर-क्षेणी प्रमाण पत्र अपलोड करना अनिवार्य है। आवेदन की अंतिम तिथि का ध्यान रखना जरूरी है।

Selection and Interview

The applications will be screened and eligible candidates will be called for a Written Test and Interview to be conducted at the Biomedical Technology Wing of the Institute at Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 012. Intimation regarding the schedule of written test & interview will be sent to their email id provided in the ONLINE application form. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.
