यह भर्ती राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान रायपुर में दो अस्थायी पदों के लिए है जो ICSSR द्वारा वित्त पोषित अनुसंधान परियोजना में हैं। इन पदों के लिए आवेदन ऑनलाइन करना होगा और अंतिम तिथि 25 अक्टूबर 2026 है। वेतन और अवधि पद के अनुसार भिन्न हैं।

One Research Assistant (INR 37,000 pm, consolidated) and one Field Investigator (INR 20,000 pm, consolidated) are being hired for a temporary, time-bound research project at National Institute of Technology Raipur. The project is funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Govt. of India, New Delhi. The Research Assistant post lasts six and half months and the Field Investigator post lasts two months and 20 days. Both posts need a postgraduate qualification in Social Science with 55% marks or an equivalent grade, plus research experience. Applicants fill in the online form by 25 October 2026.

National Institute of Technology Raipur is an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. These posts are for an ICSSR-funded research project on the language, culture and survival of the Birhor PVTGs across Indian States. Interviews will be held in the Dept. of Humanities & Social Sciences, NIT Raipur.

Vacancy Details

Who Can Apply

दोनों पदों के लिए उम्मीदवार का सामाजिक विज्ञान में स्नातकोत्तर होना आवश्यक है, साथ ही न्यूनतम 55% अंक और कम से कम 1 साल का शोध अनुभव जरूरी है। रिसर्च असिस्टेंट के लिए NET/M.Phil./Ph.D. योग्यता होनी चाहिए।

Research Assistant: Desirable Qualification

• Candidates with a Ph.D. degree and prior experience of working in research projects, conducting primary qualitative and quantitative survey on tribal language and culture.
• Candidate should be bilingual or multilingual proficient in any Austro-Asiatic family languages and English.
• The project is field-based, hence willingness to travel is mandatory across Bengal and Bihar.

Field Investigator: Desirable Qualification

• Candidates with prior experience of working in research projects, conducting primary qualitative and quantitative survey on tribal language and culture.
• Candidate should be bilingual or multilingual proficient in any Austro-Asiatic family languages and English.
• The project is field-based, hence willingness to travel is mandatory across Bengal and Bihar.

Pay and Tenure

Both posts pay a consolidated monthly amount, plus admissible TA/DA for fieldwork as per Institute norms. Both posts are temporary and co-terminus with the project. The application form’s undertaking describes the job as “a contractual engagement on purely temporary basis for the Project”.

The selected candidate is expected to work on a full-time basis and is not allowed to receive any other monetary benefit from any other institute.

Interested candidates who meet the conditions above may fill in the online Google Form by 25 October 2026. The notice also prints an application form in the prescribed format. A filled, printed copy of that form must be brought to the interview.

1. Fill in the online application form by 25 October 2026. The link is in the Important Links table below.
2. Fill in the prescribed application form and affix a recent passport-size photograph. The form asks for:
   • your name in block letters
   • your date of birth and your age as on the closing date of the application
   • your address for correspondence, with mobile number and e-mail
   • your father’s name
   • your category (SC/ST/OBC/GENERAL)
   • your qualifications: name of examination, Board/University, % marks/CGPA, year and division/grade
   • your work experience in detail
   • your publications, if any
   • your GATE/NET, if any
   • your Aadhar number
   • any other relevant information
3. Attach the certificates for your qualifications and work experience, and a copy of each publication, as the form asks.
4. Sign the “Undertaking by the Candidate” and write the place and date. In this undertaking you declare that the particulars are correct, and you accept that action can be taken against you if any of them are found to be incorrect.
5. If you are shortlisted, bring the filled printed form to the personal interview.
