GSSSB के तहत यह भर्ती सीधे प्रतियोगी परीक्षा के माध्यम से होती है, जिसमें ऑनलाइन आवेदन जरूरी है। केवल OTR पंजीकरण कराए हुए उम्मीदवार आवेदन कर सकते हैं। कुल 131 पद हैं, जो स्वास्थ्य विभाग के तहत कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा योजना कार्यालय में भरे जाएंगे।

कुल 131 पदों में से 46 सामान्य वर्ग के लिए और 85 आरक्षित वर्ग के लिए हैं, जिनमें महिलाओँ के लिए अलग आरक्षण भी है। PwD के लिए कोई पद नहीं है, लेकिन पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए 13 पद आरक्षित हैं। आरक्षित पद केवल गुजरात के मूल निवासी और संबंधित वर्ग के उम्मीदवारों के लिए हैं। महिलाओं के लिए आरक्षित पद खाली रहने पर पुरुष उम्मीदवार भी चयनित हो सकते हैं।

Educational Qualification

Citizenship

The candidate must be a citizen of India, or possess nationality as provided under Rule-7 of the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.

आवेदक के पास मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से B.Sc. Age Relaxation

आयु सीमा सामान्य वर्ग के लिए 18-35 वर्ष है, लेकिन महिलाओं, आरक्षित वर्ग और दिव्यांग उम्मीदवारों को सरकार द्वारा निर्धारित अतिरिक्त आयु छूट मिलती है। पूर्व सैनिकों को सेवा अवधि के साथ 3 वर्ष की अतिरिक्त छूट मिलती है। आयु की गणना 12 अक्टूबर 2026 को की जाएगी।

GSSSB Staff Nurse Pay Scale 2026

पहले पांच वर्षों तक चयनित स्टाफ नर्स को ₹40,800 प्रति माह फिक्स वेतन मिलेगा। इसके बाद वेतनमान 7वें वेतन आयोग की स्तर 5 के अनुसार ₹29,200 से ₹92,300 तक होगा, बशर्ते सेवा संतोषजनक हो। नियमितीकरण सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले पर निर्भर है।

GSSSB Staff Nurse Selection Process

Selection is through a single-stage competitive written examination (MCQ), conducted in two papers as per the Health & Family Welfare Department’s exam rules:

Exam Pattern

• Each paper has 100 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each. Paper I may be answered in Gujarati or English; Paper II is in Gujarati only.
• Negative marking: ¼ mark deducted for each wrong answer.
• Qualifying standard: Minimum 40% separately in Paper I and in Paper II, for all categories.
• The merit list is prepared on the combined marks of both papers, for candidates who clear both qualifying standards.
• Document verification is called for approximately twice the number of vacancies per category, based on provisional merit.
• A provisional answer key is published after the exam, followed by a final answer key after considering objections; cancelled questions are handled on a pro-rata basis.
• Widow candidates and eligible sports candidates (national/international, inter-university or All India School Federation level) receive an additional 5% of marks scored, subject to certificate verification.
• Final selection list and waiting list are prepared on merit, category-wise vacancies, and document verification outcome.

How to Apply for GSSSB Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026

1. Complete OTR (One Time Registration) on ojas.gujarat.gov.in if not already registered — only OTR-registered candidates can apply.
2. Go to “Online Application” → click Apply → select GSSSB.
3. Select Advertisement No. 458/2026-27, Staff Nurse, Class-3 and click Apply.
4. Read the “More Details” notification carefully before proceeding.
5. Click “Apply Now”, enter your Registration No. and date of birth, and click “Apply with OTR” to open the application format; fill in Personal Details.
6. Fill in Educational Details in the next step.
7. Accept the declaration/assurance (“Yes”) and click Save to generate the Application Number.
8. Upload photograph (5 cm × 3.6 cm, white background, dated, taken within one year before the last date) and signature (2.5 cm × 7.5 cm), in JPG format under 15 KB each.
9. Click “Confirm Application” after a final review — no edits are possible after confirmation; a Confirmation Number is generated.
10. Print and keep the confirmed application; download it before the last date as it cannot be downloaded afterwards.
11. Pay the requisite exam fee online by 15 October 2026, 11:59 PM and save the receipt.

Examination Fee

Fee is payable online only (debit card, internet banking, UPI or wallet) plus applicable transaction charges. No refund is given to candidates who appear in the exam or whose applications are rejected.

Important Conditions

• Reserved-category candidates applying against unreserved posts will not get reserved-category relaxations.
• Category details cannot be changed after the application is confirmed.
• Candidates must declare their marital status; persons with more than one living spouse are ineligible unless specially exempted by the State Government.
• PwD candidates may apply only if their disability type is listed as suitable (low vision, one leg, cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victim, both arm/both leg, spinal deformity/injury, specific learning disability, mental illness, multiple disabilities). Deaf/hard-of-hearing candidates are not eligible. No PwD posts are reserved in this advertisement.
• Candidates with benchmark disability who have difficulty writing can request a scribe/compensatory time (20 minutes per hour) by emailing the Board at least two days before the exam.
• Malpractice, impersonation or use of forged documents may lead to disqualification, criminal action, and debarment; the Gujarat Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2023 applies.
