प्रेस काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया में असिस्टेंट सेक्शन ऑफिसर के कुल तीन पद हैं, जो ग्रुप बी गैर-गजटेड श्रेणी में आते हैं। भर्ती डायरेक्ट होती है और आवेदन ऑफलाइन मोड में करना होगा। नौकरी नई दिल्ली में है और अंतिम आवेदन की तारीख 26 अक्टूबर 2026 है।

Important Dates

आवेदन पत्र को रोजगार समाचार में विज्ञापन प्रकाशित होने के 30 दिनों के भीतर प्रेस काउंसिल ऑफ इंडिया के बताए गए पते पर भेजना होगा। आवेदन की अंतिम तारीख 26 अक्टूबर 2026 है।

तीन पदों में से दो सामान्य वर्ग के लिए और एक ओबीसी वर्ग के लिए आरक्षित है। इससे उम्मीदवारों को उनके वर्ग के अनुसार आवेदन करने में मदद मिलेगी।

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university and fulfil the prescribed computer-typing requirement.

आवेदक को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय से किसी भी विषय में स्नातक की डिग्री होनी चाहिए और कम्प्यूटर टाइपिंग की निर्धारित गति पूरी करनी होगी।

Typing Speed

The typing test will be conducted on a computer.

कंप्यूटर पर अंग्रेजी में 30 शब्द प्रति मिनट और हिंदी में 25 शब्द प्रति मिनट की टाइपिंग स्पीड जरूरी है। यह टाइपिंग टेस्ट कंप्यूटर पर लिया जाएगा।

Age Limit

Age relaxation will be provided to eligible reserved-category candidates according to the applicable government rules.

उम्र सीमा 20 से 30 वर्ष है, जो 26 अक्टूबर 2026 को लागू होगी। आरक्षित वर्ग के उम्मीदवारों को सरकारी नियमों के अनुसार आयु में छूट मिलेगी।

Application Fee

सामान्य और ओबीसी वर्ग के लिए आवेदन शुल्क 100 रुपये है जबकि SC, ST और महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए कोई शुल्क नहीं है।

PCI Assistant Section Officer Salary

The Assistant Section Officer post carries Pay Level 6. The corresponding pre-revised pay scale is Rs.9,300-34,800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4,200. Other admissible allowances will be provided according to applicable rules.

असिस्टेंट सेक्शन ऑफिसर की तनख्वाह पे लेवल 6 के अनुसार होगी, जिसका पुराना वेतनमान 9,300 से 34,800 रुपये ग्रेड पे 4,200 रुपये के साथ है। इसके अलावा अन्य भत्ते भी मिलेंगे।

Selection Process

The selection process may include the following stages:

1. Tier-I Objective Examination
2. Tier-II Descriptive Examination
3. Computer Typing Test
4. Document Verification

चयन में सबसे पहले ऑब्जेक्टिव परीक्षा होगी, फिर वर्णनात्मक परीक्षा, उसके बाद कंप्यूटर टाइपिंग टेस्ट और अंत में दस्तावेज सत्यापन होगा।

Tier-I Examination Pattern

• Examination duration: Two hours
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer

पहली परीक्षा में चार विषयों पर कुल 200 प्रश्न आएंगे। परीक्षा का समय दो घंटे है और गलत उत्तर पर 0.25 अंक की कटौती होगी।

Tier-II Examination Pattern

दूसरी परीक्षा वर्णनात्मक होगी जिसमें निबंध, सारांश, पत्र और आवेदन लेखन शामिल हैं। इसे हिंदी या अंग्रेजी में दिया जा सकता है और समय 60 मिनट होगा।
