Bareilly Anganwadi Sahayika Recruitment 2026 FAQs

It is a direct recruitment drive by the Office of the District Programme Officer, Child Development, Bareilly, to fill 171 vacant, honorarium-based Anganwadi Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper) posts across 16 Child Development Projects in Bareilly district.

There are 171 total vacancies: 44 for SC/ST, 51 for OBC, and 76 for General/Unreserved category, distributed across 16 projects.

Only female candidates who are permanent residents of the concerned ward/Gram Sabha (or the respective Nyay Panchayat, if no eligible candidate is available in the Gram Sabha) can apply, subject to the qualification, age and selection-priority criteria.

The minimum qualification is Intermediate (12th) or its equivalent, and the maximum qualification is Postgraduate.

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 35 years, calculated as on the cut-off date of 01 July 2026, based on the date of birth in the High School marksheet/certificate.

The online application must be submitted by 29 September 2026.

There is no written exam or interview. Selection follows a fixed priority order based on widow/divorced/abandoned status and below/above poverty line status among resident candidates of the concerned ward/Gram Sabha.
