ESIC Senior Resident Qualification
Superspeciality departments prefer DM/DrNB in the concerned superspeciality over MD/DNB in General Medicine. Specialty departments require a Post Graduate Degree/DNB, or Diploma in the concerned speciality after MBBS with TCMC registration.
- ICU: PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine/Critical Care Medicine, registered with the Medical Council.
- Casualty: PG Degree in Emergency Medicine is preferred. Otherwise, PG degree or PG diploma holders in Anaesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Critical Care Medicine registered with the Medical Council will be considered. MBBS doctors with two years' experience and registration may be selected if no PG qualifications are available.

Other Important Terms & Conditions
- Private practice is not allowed except for Part-Time Super Specialists/Part-Time Specialists.
- Vacancies may change as per requirement on interview date.
- Appointing authority can cancel the offer/advertisement without reason.
- Selected candidates must sign an agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 200/-.
- Security deposit of Rs. 15,000/- via DD payable at Kollam is required at joining; refundable after contract completion and no-dues certificate.
- Selected Specialists/Super Specialists must submit professional indemnity insurance policy covering contractual period within 7 days of joining (minimum sums assured vary by specialty).
- Candidates working in government institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- Part-time engagement in two ESIC hospitals simultaneously is not allowed.
